Met Office (whos been pretty bang on recently) reckon a thundery shower at 2pm, then rest of the day will be ok until 10pm, so unless we have some shenanigans (like Eastbourne tonight) we should be ok
Would keep Jake and Danny as a pairing, seem to ride well together.... i'd personally go for
Jake, Danny, Josh, Stef, Ben, Ryan, Si but thats just my opinion
Very good and entertaining meeting on a well prepared track, good much needed win for Scunny, but fair play to the Bears for keeping it close throughout the meeting. Must say the behaviour of some Redcar fans was unacceptable, swearing at Scunny lads as we had a heat win/advantage...
EIGHT British youngsters took part in an International 125cc being staged at the Helzold Stadion, Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, the meeting giving the riders invaluable experience of riding overseas as well as a fair degree of success on the afternoon.
The meeting was won by the Czech Republic’s 2018 125cc World Champion, Vojtech Sachl, with his compatriot, Bruno Belan finishing second, with the honour of ‘top Brit’ being taken by Ben Trigger, who claimed the final step on the podium, closely followed by Luke Harrison, who was fourth overall. There was other British success on the afternoon when new Scunthorpe signing, Ben Barker, won the International 500cc class.
THANK YOU BROC NICOL! Oustanding score last night and saved Scunny from a 70-20 (or similar) scoreline... Thought the rest of the lads might have out up a bit of a fight but we move onto the next one
NEWCASTLE - Steve Worrall, Max Clegg, Lasse Bjerre, Matt Wethers, Thomas Jorgensen, Jacob Buckhave, Danny Phillips
SCUNTHORPE - Josh Auty, R/R, Danny Ayres, Stefan Nielsen, Ty Proctor (g), Dave Wallinger (g), Ryan Kinsely
Evenly matched in my opinion, but i'll go for a 48-42 Diamonds victory
