  1. NEWCASTLE - Steve Worrall, Max Clegg, Lasse Bjerre, Matt Wethers, Thomas Jorgensen, Jacob Buckhave, Danny Phillips SCUNTHORPE - Josh Auty, R/R, Danny Ayres, Stefan Nielsen, Ty Proctor (g), Dave Wallinger (g), Ryan Kinsely Evenly matched in my opinion, but i'll go for a 48-42 Diamonds victory
  2. Have heard that Glasgow nor Newcastle didn't want this Friday too... plus, seeing the weather this week, the track I would say is damaged enough and with more rain due, theres no way God himself would be able to get a track suitable for a proper race meeting
  3. Surprised your's isn't David Speight x20
  4. Sure I read in Speedway Star maybe a week or two back Anders would be the guest for Bailey for this meeting. I'd also use Ryan for Jason, if allowed.. Tigers defo favourites for the meeting, but hoping the Scorpions can pull it out the bag
  5. Think Jedd could be on his way to Newcastle, and if that is the case, good luck to the lad
  6. It was our lowest crowd of the season, but that could mainly be down to people going to Poland for the GP?
  7. What sort of average would Connor Coles come in on? Glasgow not using him anymore but seems to have been scoring? Would be a better option than Jedd?
  8. Fingers, arms, toes, legs everything crossed Jake is ok
  9. Not too sure myself either with them having the 20 years, it was just the easier one for me to get rid of the white background
  10. Edinburgh to win on the night, Scorpions to go through Edinburgh 47 scunny 43
  11. Enjoyed that, despite the result. Auty really disappointing, and much like Scunny1 Bailey's starting to become a worry, Ryan can be excused as he's never seen the place. Jake and Danny were awesome!
  12. Scorpions could do with nicking a point from this, or a win would be even better for Shield progression.. 44 Bears - 46 Scorpions
  13. Do believe the ref (Seth Perkin) finished his training at the end of last year, but do think he held the tapes a bit too long.. A good meeting between 2 decent sides.. Heats 13 and 15 WOW, if anyone managed to film them on a cameraphone then please post them up here as they was out of this world
  14. I'm not one to agree with what Rob did, but however, he certainly isn't ready for Championship racing. National League would help him but not sure if he'd be allowed to compete in that level. Riders look good in practice on their own, as Jedd did, but when there's 3 other riders by you, its a totally different ball game
  15. First load of heats, boring... was starting to think Leicester was the home team by the (lack of) racing and the follow the leader stuff... Heats 11 to 15 was decent, apart from the fact the place was a dustbowl.. A bit of watering would have helped surely? Congrats to Leicester on their win, helps Scunny out a bit, when it comes to the best runners up
  16. Do hope your right Spiderman1, but thinkit'll be close... still going 47-43 to scunny... if track is prepared right, could be a classic
  17. Do think this will be the toughest test of the Season for the Scorpions, but think we have enough in the tank to win it... just! Be happy with a 47-43 or 46-44 win to the Scorpions... but be even better if we sent the Penistone Prowlers back without any points!
