  5. Been saying this for quite a while now as have I'm sure many others have. What I keep getting told by those in charge is that there are not enough riders to do this but something has to be done. If it comes to pass someone like Matt Ford will no doubt be credited with coming up with the answer.
  6. Got a feeling that Josh may be sidelined again for some time. If so should a replacement rider be brought in.
  7. You do not need to have much passing to have good racing. 4 riders close together who are trying to pass is fine but there were so many races so string out after the first bend. It is the same at many tracks not just Sheffield and Leicester.Yes heat 14 looked good with both Sheffield riders passing Connor Mountain but I understand that something broke on Connor's bike coming out of the start and he couldn't race as fast as he would have liked.
  8. 10. Will Cook have to remove all of his sponsors from his equipment and riding suit?
  11. I am reliably informed that such a thing is allowed in the BNL only.
  12. Are the rules different in The National League ? Breaking the tapes twice and being excluded twice and being allowed to go off 15 metres twice?
  13. Just seen on Eastbourne's site that Leicester are using RR for Ryan Douglas at Eastbourne on Sunday and that Connor Mountain is at 2 with Ellis perks at reserve. Nothing on Leicester's site yet about either match.
  14. If it is Sunday will Connor Mountain be available as I think he has been selected to go to Germany with a Young Lions team.
  15. No team news yet for this one. Jack Thomas is riding in the Under 21 Final at Berwick and will need replacing.
  16. I can only recall one rider ever winning a GP riding at Number 1. Antonio Lindback at Cardiff.
  17. When the individual qualifying times are known it might take forever for some riders to decide which riding number they prefer. They have trouble picking gates for heat one in a league match and very often have to consult with others before they can decide.
  18. How about Cook going to Wolves with Nicholls returning to Boro'
  19. I agree that too many times races are too strung out but there does not have to be passing to have an interesting race. Close racing is what is require which we won't often get until teams have riders of similar qualities and abilities. I've been to many meetings up and down the country where the fare has been just the same. Passing is good but you can still see a good race when the riders keep closer together and seem to be making an effort to get or keep better race positions.
  20. Should be Interesting this one. Redcar will arrive with 3 track specialist heat leaders.
