  1. Total thrashing, fantastic weather and crowd 2500-3000. Well done Morra beating Doyley twice, as Batch loses to him 3 times. Great from Zach, Dave. Joint top with Wolves.
  2. 52-38 to the Wiltshire side, with only Jase and Dean Wilson offering resistance. Batch and Morra v Jase will be highlight Go Robins!!!
  3. Well done to the old guys, Bomber and Nick. Well done to Adam and Batch, Nickyboy is a worry at number1 at times.
  4. Had good chat with Doyley at Reading services earlier, onhis way to Somerset. Much prefers the Somerset management to Swindon's. Didn't realise Swindon were riding against the Rebs next Monday, he's so busy! Friendly genuine geezer. From Robins reserve to world champ in 5 years, incredible.
  5. Was sat chatting to Doyley at Reading services earlier, on his way from Norfolk to Zummerrzet. Said he much prefers riding for the Rebs rather than the Robs. Friendly guy, but ard as nails
  6. Good crowd considering, about 1300-1400, not as many as Wolves, and about half of Poole match. Too easy for the champs, paid maxes for Bellego and Batch. Everyone rode well, Rye very poor.
  7. Well done champs, back on top, great work from Batch and Zach. Wolves miss Lindgren, pants away, strong home. When the Red Red Robin goes Bob bob bobbing along along!
  8. Decent crowds so far at The Abbey, doubt if a Monday cup match against Rye will pack them in though.
  9. It was boiling Bank Holiday Monday! Noice cold coiderrs being necked. Can only see a windon win against a Wolves team that dont travel well. Top 2 clash and repeat of last years Grand Final...52-38 to the Moonrakers and return to the top. Hoping for big score from Adam and Dave B
  10. Poor showing again from Morra, perhaps number 1 and captaincy too much, poor from Muesli Bellego. Well done Batch Adam and Jacko. Still the only team to win away..twice, and will go top if beat Wolves tomorrow. Go Robins!!!
  11. Will go 46-44 to the Wiltshire side. Reserves need to start scoring though. Won there both times last year so the powerful top 5 can hit 45 between them. One of Dave Bellegos fav tracks.
  12. The reason for lower crowds at Swindon is that they are crap nothing else!
  13. I don't think racing is much different now to 50 years ago. Just lower crowds, less atmosphere, for whatever reason, cost, non Saturday's, no local riders etc., I still enjoy my nights at The Abbey, and a few new fans family and friends are attending after not having been for years
  14. If the Vue can't get the fans in with their massive catchment area of millions what hope is there. Massive crowd at Swindon v Poole, but that was a warm bank holiday. What about a normal cold Monday evening. They made heavy losses last year despite finishing top. And the Abbey doesn't have the best of racing, normally gate and go.
  15. Reigning champs top again. Poole must be getting sick of the sight of Swindon, Robins have won 7 and drawn 1 of their last 8 meetings. Excellent team spirit and very powerful top5 for the Blunsdon boys. Always dangerous when written off. Excellent weather, bumper crowd, and luvverly coider, mediocre racing. Ellis so unlucky, should have got a max. Killer too inconsistent. Much better from Dave and Toby, deserved to be in heat 15, and superb pass from Zach. Apart from Kurtzy the Poirates didn't offer much, not looking favourites. Stupid Swindon fan cheering when Poole rider came off, and shouting take him out. Don't get so carried away! Good 1 minute silence for Ari and Wellie. Me mate and his missus hadn't been this century and loved it.
  16. Windon win I hope, and hopefully a close meeting with decent weather and crowd
