  1. Klindt takes some figuring out, looks so smooth an stylish, can trap an looks super fast, but on the other hand can often pull off shockers like that tonight. The only interesting thing is he never seems to delivery that shambles that he did tonight for poole
  2. Got to feel sorry for the Workington fans that paid there hard earned money to travel up to watch what seems to be a total embarrassing performance. Totally unacceptable, some comets riders need to take a long hard look in the mirror. At least it seems rasser an mason had ago, the others (apart from Rene) should hang the head in shame
  3. Workington just gifted the monarchs this tie..... What an absolute awful choice of guest in Kevin Doolan. Was going to make the trip up but after watching his efforts guesting for us at Newcastle the other week I'm now going to stay at home
  4. What ever happened to ben Wilson? He looked a decent premier league rider at one point
  5. Has he really though?? The only person he's Stuck two finger up at his himself imo. Looked like a fish our of water in the grand prix. Instead of making a fist of it what did he do? Dropped back down a level an signed for Glasgow, then has the nerve to hint at a wildcard for next year's gp. Watch cook for a few years now, found his level, in fact if any thing he's on the decline, Rob Lambert has overtaken him now
  6. Got to be honest, really disappointed that cook won today, he should never have been allowed back into this league never mind this meeting. I'm Craig cook I'm a gran prix rider, I won't be competing in the championship next season was his message at The end of last year. No Craig your not a gran prix rider, in fact your not even riding to a standard of number 1 for bell vue. Why should you drop back down at your Willy nilly just because Glasgow are throwing the bucks about??
  7. Really enjoyable meeting last night. Some great racing on a well prepaired track. Rasmus Jensen would be my 1st name on the team sheet next season, get him signed now. Slightly concerned with klindt' s machinery issues, we got away with it but it could of cost us last night. Also ty Proctor was off the boil an has looked any thing but heat leader material these past few weeks. Was great to catch up with Garry stead last night an see him looking so well. 1 final thing, Why did heat 1 not get pulled back???? Ricky wells jumped that fast he's nearly finished the race before the other 3 had started it.
  8. What a stupid post. Rene bach at reserve? Name one team in either league that wouldn't snap your hand of at that? Also since buying a new engine have you seen rene's scores riding at number ? Also it's plain to see me Godfrey has manipulated workingtons fixtures for his own benefit
  9. This surely should never been allowed to happen? Does this mean Hancock can sign for Berwick? And Pedersen for Newcastle? Craig cook has found his level, can't cut it in poland or the gps, I think he's accepting this by agreeing to this move.
  10. I would rather klindt get away with withholding his services that have to pay an watch him last night. He should be fined imo. Yes he's not getting paid but why should fans pay to watch that, even more so the fans at Sheffield an lakeside paid there good money to watch a rider go through the motions, unacceptable
  11. Exactly. Total lack of ambition by workington. With bwd in the team we had a real chance of winning something this year. Now it's back to same old same old.
  12. Mason might be a nice lad but bringing him back into the team in place of Wilson dean is like swapping a bmw for a Vauxhall. Don't think many other teams would of made this move?
  13. If they have any ambition to win anything this season they simply have to drop mason an stick with bwd, all the comets fans I was talking to today were all saying the same, we have to release mason an stick with Wilson dean
  14. Just on my way home now from another excellent performance, this time at Glasgow. The workington promotion have to sign Bradley Wilson dean permantley in place of mason campton. Wilson dean turns this team into contenders, but not only that he's also box office an will come from the back. It's a harsh move on campton, but it's a results an entertainment business an this move will help crowd levels. Workington promotion it's over to you
  15. So still no ty, bad news for the monarchs as Charles Wright guests which actually makes us stronger. Dry day an finally some speedway
  16. Broke his wrist in 4 places. Kasper lykke maybe?
  17. There is only light rain forecast and like mentioned above it hasn't rained in workington for the past couple of days. Hasty decision imo, an they wonder why crowds are down. Ian Thomas would never of called a meeting this early with only light showers forecast.
  18. Meetings are called off way to early these days. It seems minimum effort is put in to stage a meeting of there is any threat of rain.
  19. I have to disagree unfortunately, if been going to workington speedway since the re launch, Craig Cook is good rider but he's not in the class of stonehewer that is for sure. Also the above mentioned, Harris an Nichols are on the spiral, they are not at the level of Wilson, Zorro, frank smart, Danny bird an various others during the past PL area. The fact is the elite league is probably more nearer that standard of the old PL these days.
  20. I am hearing that the Roynon signing is a short term contract? Maybe to buy some Time, but it could well be weathers that makes way if Roynon rides to past ability
  21. And Adam Roynon to be announced in the next few days.
  22. Thank you must of missed that being announced
  23. Anyone know when press an practice day is this year?
