I have to disagree unfortunately, if been going to workington speedway since the re launch, Craig Cook is good rider but he's not in the class of stonehewer that is for sure. The fact is the elite league is probably more nearer that standard of the old PL these days.

If workington can get Rene bach going like he was at Glasgow then I think they could be dark horses for a play off place. Bewley will add points to his average, Bickley will do well an with campton startng at reserve we should have a strong senior reserve all season. I think klint will be the difference to this being a decent team instead of a good one, really don't see what he will bring to the party on that average. For top spot I fancy a fight between Ipswich and scunny, Claus vissing being the reason Glasgow will fall short.

If Rene starts how he left of for Glasgow then great, I remember seeing him when he 1st come over with Newcastle an thought wow this kid is going to the top. A bad injury seemed to halt his career. But like iv said he was class at Glasgow so let's hope we see the same Rene Bach at workington. Rasmus Jensen is a bit of an enigma, you see his scores from Europe an he looks to be a very good speedway rider, over here last time he only seemed half interested, although there was glimpses of what he could do. Let's hope we get the best out of him this time round.
