  1. Why wasn't he riding? Hasn't he just signed for his Polish team? The Glasgow fixtures was in his schedule since the fixtures came out. UK used to get priority unless it was a rearranged fixture, if rider wasn't contracted at the start of the season. Does Poland always get priority now?
  2. Don't understand why Oxford didn't just operate R/R at 2 when they had 2 in form reserves. Cost Oxford the metting. Zach Cook was very poor, don't know what's happened to him this year, hopefully he shows the same form on Friday night.
  3. Bewley £100 more Lambert £100 more Holder £100 more Kvech £100 more
  4. Yes, Drew Kemp certainly helped last time and there's no chance of the other six all clicking as Matt Marson is riding.
  5. Marson has ridden against a 2 point rider, guesting for Edinburgh against Berwick - Dayle Wood. Marson was way off the pace in this meeting and only scored in a race with 2 finishers. Interestingly he was interviewed by BSN and he said he was riding with a knee injury which he picked up last year.
  6. Kurtz £50 less Lambert £50 more Bewley £50 more Kvech £50 more
  7. You'd think they could schedule it so that it's home one week and away next week but no Glasgow v Berwick v Glasgow are on same weekend twice. Even more unbelievable Glasgow go to Plymouth the day after a home meeting.
  8. Great fixture planning home opener 18th April (Good Friday), then no home fixtures until 9th May 🤬
  9. Think it's a lot easier to travel from London to Edinburgh than Plymouth. He could easily fly up. It's a long drive to Plymouth
  10. So did the Glasgow management last season and that went well. Starkie talked the talk preseason but once the season started a total disappointment
  11. Why does he even qualify as a 2 pointer? He's Australian
  12. That will be why Leicester sacked their manager when they weren't in a relegation place. No because the fans didn't like the style of play under Cooper compared to Maresca. Similarly West Ham got rid of Moyes and now fans are unhappy with Lopetegui. People are paying good money and want to be entertained
  13. Don't think it has anything to do with the quality of riders, seen plenty of rubbish meetings in the Premiership. Even in SGP sometimes it ain't good. Compare Poole v Glasgow and Glasgow v Poole championship 2024 same riders but far better racing at Glasgow.
  14. It's just like premier league football winning isn't enough, fans want to be entertained. Poole = zero entertainment yet their fans seem happy. Nobody else understands why
  15. At Glasgow the racing was fantastic and we lost once at home to Poole 44-46 in a last heat decider. Seem to recall Poole lost one meeting at home as well and Oxford had won by heat 14. More importantly saw more passing in one meeting than the whole season at Poole
  16. But they do spend money on their team at Championship level but nothing on the racing surface. One of the best meeting I ever saw on TV was the speedway World Cup at Poole but now the racing is garbage
  17. I'm not saying there team weren't good I watched them many times winning away on BSN but I wouldn't watch them live at home except when hammering Glasgow because there was no passing after the first lap unless someone made a mistake. Take the last meeting of the season Ashton Boughen looks like a novice in first 2 rides then makes a start and beats Richard Lawson in his 3rd ride, then tailed off last in his 4th ride
  18. S Finally it makes sense because I've never seen any track grading at Wimborne Road, just scraping dirt off the track. Something I've never seen at any other track during a meeting on a dry day. The Poole punters might be happy with the product on show but I'd rate the racing as the worst in the league.
  19. I stand corrected. I thought Riss had a higher average. Think Edwards, Mulford and Piper should help them to plenty of heat advantages. Now they just need to find someone to prepare the track as last season wasn't as good as previously
  20. Over 40 if Riss is 1.5 times his Premiership average. Is that still the conversion rate? If so 40.72
  21. Problem is who are they going to get to fill the No.1 and 5 berths? MPT is about the only heatleader available
