  1. So would i...10.12 av for kent and has done sod all really for us...maybe because he knows now he'll be on his way out he's not bothered....who knows.his efforts for us have not been anywhere near what was expected.why can't he even come out and give an explanation for his poor form for us I'd think more of him if he did,and I think that would go for a lot of the Sheffield support.even if he was trying and scoring low then I'd understand a little but to ride and not even seem bothered then that is all wrong...come on Troy, give us an explanation..!!!
  2. Don't worry, even if he wasn't riding, you'd still beat us,I don't understand this James wright guest lark either...that's even worse!!
  3. You could be a little generous there,if batch doesn't come to the party, potentially could be our biggest defeat kof the season..!
  4. If you go on the speedway updates they are all on there...:-)
  5. Blimey, you really do take some pleasing if you thought the racing was rubbish.there were more races that were good that didn't involve Josh as well.i thought the crowd was decent.if you'd have been at scunny the night before you'd have left after a handful of races going by your comments, the racing there was grim really, albeit spoiled by the weather with ALL of the races pretty much sorted by the second bend,I thought the racing last night was very good, with a good close meeting,Josh worth the admission money alone,as he had been at k.lynn on Thursday night.
  6. Low life bastards,it's about time now that if they are caught they get severely punished, pity they can't bring back the birch.these low life scum couldn't care less who the equipment belongs to or whether it's going to affect anyone's livelihood.i feel gutted for the lad....
  7. Were you at the same meeting, the track looked fine to me,only one faller in summers I think.him and Douglas were super quick last night.a good close meeting up to the last few races.alk credit to the riders.good to see Josh Mac up with the pace, some terrific speedway once again at the ewr.
  8. There's little I can add really, saw Eastbourne at Leicester the other Saturday and if that's the last time it will be a very sad occasion,my heart goes out to the management, riders and most of all the passionate supporters of Eastbourne speedway,I loved my time watching the Tigers down there, very welcoming and warm people and I loved the set up.Really hoping that you can come to the tapes next season.jesus.....what is happening to our wonderfull sport...it's so damn sad...
  9. Except for the prob with Barker or it wouldn't have been brought up.
  10. Well,it wasn't exactly a meeting with a team from down the road,Glasgow,s a fair old trek and the decision probably made with a lot of people in mind, plus,if it had rained, but the ref declared the track rideable ,would you seriously want to see both teams just tootling around just for the benefit of getting a result,I know I wouldn't and would rather see a double header or whatever in more appropriate weather condusive to racing.ive seen enough of the wet meetings and the entertainment is zero.
  11. I really hope so,don't want to lose yet another track.its been such a difficult year for all the promotions,Somerset being a prime example, loved my visits there, had some memorable stayovers and the grand Prix weekend was legendary, sadly no more, and now with other tracks under threat, there's not a lot of optimism.it will be a travesty if we lose any more venues.
  12. Also Swindon have had some cracking riders over the years, hope that you are back next season.
  13. Thanks, yes,in their prime they were excellent to watch,I followed Shawn pretty much all over the place,he was amazing to watch over here, stick him on any track first time and he pretty much did the buisiness
  14. You indeed are damned if you do and damned if you don't ,come on speedway fans, how many times have you been to a meeting after a long drive only for it to have been called off? It's a really frustrating feeling, both from a time point of view and the expense as well.speedway is,and always will be,a fair weather sport.i would imagine most people go to be entertained,I know I do,dispite the outcome, that's why I also watch a lot of meetings at scunthorpe as well as my hometown club.when it's wet though the entertainment factor is zero and to try and promote the sport you NEED entertainment,so when meetings are called off, they are firstly from the safety aspect and secondly from an entertainment point of view.i really do have sympathy for a lot of the promoters.
  15. Jesus Christ....blah,blah,blah,give the bloke a break....sad...!!!
  16. Ok,got it on the Scunthorpe site, thanks, hoping tonight,s is going to be good too....
  17. Just off subject....I can't believe the speedway website hasn't got it ht13 from last Friday v Redcar on there or any number of other races for that matter...shocking.!!
  18. The entertainments been crap from batchelor on a GOOD track...
