It's fairly obvious if you've seen the advert. There aren't many speedway riders who live in that area and have a set of helmets over the fireplace, trophies on display and a track in the back garden.

Well done Tai

What a night! Commiserations to Somerset, I thought they were going to clinch it. Best wishes to Brady & Jack too. For those who want to see H15 again and again. https://twitter.com/btsport/status/1046879665993015298/video/1

I'd certainly like Harris, Woryna, Klindt and Jackobsen back next year and work the rest of the team around them.

Average manipulation for next season?

From today's Poole preview http://www.poolepirates.co/news/2016-08-26_pirates-bank-holiday-action.html

Yeah it’s certainly the busiest meet so far this year.

Thanks Steve

Planning to go up for this. What route do people recommend from Poole?

Don't be daft, we don't want to get the track wet

Yes we do, it's just behind Doyle's head

Or maybe they thought it was only going to be a short light shower which wouldn't affect things! In the past when rain has been properly forecast they tend to push the races through. Given this is how it looked at 7pm last night did any of us really expect heavy rain less than 2 hours later? Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

What long interval? I thought the interval was actually quite short last night.

It is for Swindon. As a rearranged fixture, I suppose it was something that Poole and Leicester were happy with.

Do we know that it is actually oil? No, all we know is a black coloured liquid has been poured onto the track. Lots of assumptions and very little facts.

Update on Jason from his Facebook page Wow, given how nasty that crash looked he seems to be a very lucky man. Fingers crossed for a quick full recovery.

Poole and Wolves have already agreed to postpone their race on Wednesday, based on today's result

Official now

If you get there early you can park in the Stadium car park otherwise the town centre car parks are only a short walk away. The ones near the train station being the closest.

Here's a video of Worrall's brilliant ride in Heat 13 (not my video) https://twitter.com/PirateCast/status/1007377685411237889/video/1

Looks like we will do http://www.poolepirates.co/news/2018-06-11_tough-finals-night-for-richie.html

I noticed that last year after they performed some work on it mid season. We started to lose more races.

Now confirmed that Chris won't be back with Poole this season, direct from him.

He's certainly doing well this evening so far (apart from the crash)
