  1. From what I heard, he he injured the tip of his pinkie and index finger and has no idea how that could’ve happened as the two fingers between are fine. It is very sore but he has been doing exercises and hoping to be back ASAP, maybe even tonight - made of tough stuff these speedway riders. Best wishes to Michael and hope he makes the right decision as I suspect tonight is too soon
  2. I would hate to be a camera person trying to film wee Joshie, it’s hard enough watching him in real time
  3. Berry9, I feel your pain. Losing MPT is a massive blow to your team. He is a brilliant rider who will be sadly missed. To us too as it is better to see balanced team, hence better speedway, win or lose. if the shoe was on the other foot I know Redcar would’ve done the same. We are sticking to the rules and that doesn’t make us cheats. You will be very welcome at Armadale if you do decide to come and we will be travelling on Sunday so hopefully the weather will behave Jings, doing too many things at once, by the time I’d posted, the weather has won.
  4. Wee Joshie’s first meeting at Brum since his bad crash there. He’ll be better next time I’m sure
  5. Heat 14 Superb, I think the plan was to stay in front of the sandstorm...... brilliant, take a bow Connor Well done Mons, amazing win Good luck to Newcastle for the future
  6. I would have normally been heading in the direction of Leicester by now but previous plans being scuppered twice already mean I’m staying at home this time. Good luck to our boys and I really hope you can bring home a win. Stay safe all
  7. I’d just like to wish Nathan Greaves all the best and hope to see him back in speedway sometime. He had some troublesome injuries but always a trier. He was in the lead at Kent when bombed from behind and didn’t seem to get right back from that one Take care lad, the Devils will miss you too
  8. Too much pressure on the wee guy. We should’ve binned Oor Wullie ages ago
  9. I travel to most Monarchs fixtures but I may be about to spend my money on something less risky in future. I’m getting too old to get this angry
  10. I got the idea something wasn’t right the way you asked so I went looking. I guess we were just supposed to find out when we turned up on Wednesday. Do fans never get considered when these changes are made. Money wasted on Leicester tonight and now this One very angry Scot.........
  11. Well THANK YOU for nothing!!! Do he fans EVER come into consideration??? Money wasted on Leicester call off and now this. I sympathise with Birmingham’s problems but this is NO WAY to treat loyal fans. To say I am furious is an understatement ...........
  12. I have come home from afternoon meetings like I’d retuned from picking tattles, today was a treat
  13. I just had to come on here to say a huge thanks to the track staff today. I feared the worst when the big yellow thing scorched down from the sky but we were saved from a dust storm by some very smart watering. Great track action over Friday and today as local derbies should be. Respect to the boys
  14. Well, I really am a technophobe, it’s official. I tried to add a picture about the great shave-off ..... failed. So just to let you know that Mitchell Davey was also involved in shaving his barnet - well done to Mitchell too
  15. Folks, I apologise if a thread already exists..... Lee Kilby has said he will shave off his hair to raise funds for The Ben Fund with an initial target of £500. This was quickly exceeded and raised to £1000 which has also been surpassed. Can we keep up the good work since The Ben Fund still has people depending on it and the dreaded virus has stopped other normal methods of fundraising. Well done to Lee. Sorry I don’t know how to do links but the details are as follows https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/leekilbyheadshave?utm_term=4MKAr3Xb5
  16. I have so many happy memories of Blair, especially on Southern tours in the good old days when tours lasted all week and Blair and Ally provided much of the humour. I have always had a soft spot for our likeable lad and it is with great sadness that I now say, RIP Bongo Sincere condolences to Margaret and Ally
  17. Good luck to Cookie and our neighbours from the West. Fly the flag for Scotland
