  1. Firstly, Well done Josh Sadly stalwart Bertie (Farmer) Barr has passed away this morning. Well known from his days driving the tractor and a good friend to all. Bertie was well into his 90’s and ever faithful at Edinburgh Speedway until last year Condolences to his family. RIP Bert
  2. Maybe you could ask the organisers at the email address in the first post
  3. Happy New Year to one and all and here’s to a great (injury free) 2018
  4. A support group has been established to assist Cookie in 2018 as he steps up into the GP’s I’m not posting this to attract any negative comments but to inform the folks who do support Craig - so if you don’t like him (your prerogative) please just move on to another thread I think it is a great idea and have encouraged a fair few Monarchs fans to join For just £50 a fan can have their name on Cookie’s GP race suit, monthly prize draw for GP passes, merchandise, race worn kit, signed photos, birthday card and members only communications on WhatsApp and Twitter For more information on how to join the CC111 Support Squad contact 111CraigCook@gmail.com
  5. I’m very happy to see Matt in the team. What I’ve seen of him is that he is a 100% trier and I like that. Welcome Matt
  6. Best I’ve got is 1st Rohan Tungate, 2nd Josh Pickering, 3rd Jack Holder
  7. Ahah.... found out..... 1st Rohan Tungate, 2nd Josh Pickering and 3rd Jack Holder Well done all (especially Josh)
  8. Thank you for that, well done to Sedgy and wee Bob It would be great if you could follow that up with the result from Kurri Kurri if possible
  9. I can’t get this link to work. Does anyone have results from today please
  10. We will miss Sam (and Tegan) very much, especially my old Mum ....... (Sams 90 year old favourite “Sheila”) Sam is a great team man and a treat to have around. His smile and personality far outweigh his occasional spat All the best in 2018 and beyond and welcome back anytime
  11. I have just heard this extremely sad news. My sincere condolences to Colin and Mandy
  12. I’ve know Dave since I bought merchandise for Brett Saunders Testimonial in 1991 and it was a pleasure to bump into him for a chat at speedway tracks up & down the country...... always smiling and full of stories, top bloke RIP big guy
  13. We went to a BelleVue meeting where they were handing out forms to everyone Congratulations to the winners
  14. Congratulations to Jason, Patryk and Tai and also Bartosz for yesterday, all well deserved places IMO. Commiserations to "the wee Dude" on his ef in the final
  15. Imagine if every worker in the country got a "7 day don't come back to work penalty" for being ill one day...... the country would grind to a halt very quickly Not all illnesses are contagious so that argument doesn't hold water either As if the teams weren't decimated enough
  16. Edinburgh (& Glasgow) would have been much worse off over the years without a steady flow of Ausy riders Some Southern based riders (with notable exceptions!) don't want to travel so far North Both teams have had some great and some not- so- great Ausy lads in our squads and ended up forging amazing friendships with some amazing characters IMO If you treat people properly you will reap the rewards
  17. I was travelling in a car and am not too good at typing on a wee phone keyboard, sorry to have bothered you all BTW, we decided not to continue to Newcastle as Steve's wee green face made us think there must be some awful "bug" going round Brough
  18. All part of being a speedway fan I suppose
