I don’t think it’s hate to me the Pirates this year we’re set up as a team and the top man was either Stevie Worrall or Danny King to spearhead the Pirates this is we’re the fans don’t like it as Danny King if he misses the gate is away and chasing the opposition riders were as Stevie Worrall is classed as an old adage is “A Gating Tart “

Ive watched on streams and visited most championships tracks and tonight was a very boring meeting , gate and go all night and I wouldn’t pay to watch that week in week out . Not a patch on proper raceways like Oxford ,Glasgow, Redcar and Scunthorpe . Great chance to get the bonus point back at the EW Raceway

How does a professional sport like speedway allow only one person Neil Vatcher make these decisions surely a committee of 3 or 5 people should make these decisions . Ex riders and promoters should be involved in decision making

I think there is a few Scunthorpe fans voting with there feet ,why should they pay extra for a match the don’t want to see ie the NDL fixture after the Bandits v Scorpions . Poor promoting I think

Why discuss pounds for point on here ,surely a rider will only sign if it’s beneficial to him .All this guessing is beyond me I would reckon before travelling a bike for this level will be 5 grand with all the gear minimum , so he earns £20 a point and will usually score a maximum of 4 points equals £80 nah I’m not having that . Plus why should supporters want to know what there earning that is between the rider and there paymaster Scunthorpe speedway

Officially Scunthorpe Speedway haven’t released any statement on changes as they will have to be approved by the Hierarchy at the BSPA , if the changes are correct I think there were needed but very harsh on Joe Thompson. The team was set up to have an experienced reserve Zaine and Joe to do what he could at reserve .The guest for Zaine With 25% off would have been approx 3.3 and Joe at reserve and I think because we ride Friday as do a few other teams then the choice of guest would be very limited and this new approach allows Connor to go to reserve and if everything goes as planned I can see the reserve spot but occupied by Connor , Max and Lambo in the future months . Joe will not be without a team long I can see a move to Birmingham or a couple of more sides . To keep young brits involved I believe that they should inherit a bigger percentage off there average’s to keep more Brits in our leagues .Opinions aside I wish Joe all the best in the future

Any team news for tomorrow as I can’t find out the guest so assuming a couple of new signings ???

As of tonight the guest for Zaine Kennedy reduces to 75% of his average ,by my sums that means a guest for Zaine has to have an average of 3.3 Or there could be two changes for Zaine and one other rider

Zaine has broken his back and Scunthorpe we’re granted a 28 day facility to replace him , this has now been withdrawn so from the 5 th of May this will cease and the Scorpions will have to re declare there 1 to 7 new line up and have it approved by the BSPA committee members

Scunthorpe will not have the facility extended as a 28 day facility is all that was granted , so there will be a new rider or possibly 2 riders after Scunthorpe’s two away midweek meetings at Plymouth and Birmingham. If Zaine had his injury in Britain he would have been able to have the guest ruling . But as Plymouth abused this last season by letting Eddie Kennett ride less than a lap in a home meeting and then having a guest all season for him the rule book was tightened up .

Correct they did Steve Worrall broke his Tibula and Fibula in a home meeting against Redcar that is why Scunthorpe were allowed a facility
