I believe the 2 Scots clubs might not come to the table due to there own covid rules been different to the rest of the clubs Also the other rider every one is refusing to name will be Josh McDonald a good rider

Hoping we will get to see speedway this year ,with all the uncertainty it could be a British and commonwealth league with a scattering of yanks as well . Whatever is on offer I will support my home track as we can’t go with another blank season

A few yrs back Scunthorpe had a cracking side on paper and we’re worth favourites . As the season started they were rocked by injuries Steve Worrill broken leg , Stefan Neilson broken and Jason Garrity missed a lot of matches in the early season. . . The key is keeping the bulk of your squad injury free sadly in speedway that doesn’t always work out

When teams could last race in 2019 which teams in both leagues got the highest crowds and which teams from both leagues survive on the lowest gates please

It will go ahead with reduced capacity at stadiums ie 33% or 50 % of the stadium’s safety limit . So in nearly all cases teams should be allowed to race due to low attendance at speedway .The problem will be the two Scottish sides might have to adhere to different rules under there leader Nicola Sturgeon ??

When will the sides for this be announced , I was there with my dad for the last meeting which Jordan Palin won , unfortunately I’m away with it been bank holiday but please stop all the moaning the price . My dad is an OAP and I’ve purchased him a ticket for the next event , So let’s get the bullrubbish out the way by lining Rob Godfrey pockets you must all be stupid there will be better riders on show than the last meeting and Rob is prepared to put meetings on under the guidelines set out by councils , government etc so let’s back Scunthorpe as all the moaners will possibly get there way when it’s defunct . Simple fact support your local track or it might be lost forever Sorry Rant over

My Dad is an 80 yr old Scunthorpe Scorpions fan and also an avid reader , due to the horrid virus were all having to deal with he has had to self isolate . With having a lot of time on his hands I'm wanting to purchase new or secondhand books relating to his favourite sport to fill his time .Before Scunthorpe we both followed Hull Vikings until there demise so what I'm asking can people recommend books relating to the sport and without the obvious one EBAY any outlets that stock these books or anyone wanting to sell some of there own collection . Thanks in Advance

The mans a fool Fromafar Scunthorpe is a well run club with a great raceway and by speedway standards fairly decent other facilities. Dont keep knocking clubs as with this pandemic I can see a few clubs going to the wall before the Season runs

I think you Diamonds fans need to take a breathe and be thankful you have a new promotion,team manager and team .A couple of months ago it looked like speedway was going to be lost on the Tyne ,so be patient as your team due to the uncertainty has had to have the pick of the riders left after all sides had virtually picked there riders . Support Rob Grant or speedway will be lost ,as I know only too well when Hull Vikings closed a lot of years ago . I know get my methanol fix at Scunthorpe Scorpions alongside my dad aged 80 ,so give it time and support and good luck to all associated with the Diamonds for the 2020 season
