  1. On a slightly different note, I was surprised Freddie performed so well at weekend knowing his wife had gone into labour on Friday in a foreign country on her own.
  2. I don’t understand all these calls for more younger new faces. The GP series is suppose to be the best 15 riders in the world, some of these older riders are still up there. In reality it’s the top 10 who retain their place each year and if a rider finishes in top 10 they deserve it IMO. The only reason they have the number lower is to create some drama. Liking the look of next years series, the only disappointment is Kasprzak but he qualified in dodgy circumstances. I’d personally prefer it if only 2 qualified from GP challenge (not that it would have helped this year).
  3. I think the indoor tracks have got a lot better in recent years. I read somewhere in past, think it was Ole Olsen saying that the old practise sessions they did on the Friday involved more wear on the track then a GP.
  4. What if a 12 wins and 13 comes 2nd? a run off?
  5. Obviously these 2 events are different as no fans are allowed in, but in the future if streaming is continued when fans are present the price can't be set too low as this will then effect the attendance, home fans would stay at home if the stream is cheap. It needs to be targeted at away fans and neutrals who don't want to take time off work and drive a long distance with additional expenses to watch. So for example £12 would be lot cheaper and convenient for them but £12 would hopefully mean most home fans would actually go and pay the £18 to watch it live.

  7. Exactly, like I said 90% of all tickets have been sold, seating and standing. Like Fromafar said only solution would be to refund them all and put limited amount back on sale again. For the Youth meeting on 10 October it is being limited to 20% of capacity. I'm pretty sure wouldn't be allowed any more then 33% of capacity for SoN.
  8. To have a crowd, if allowed, it would be limited to around 33% of capacity, but over 90% of tickets have been sold so not sure how they would do that.
  9. When Belle Vue greyhound stadium closed giving a final reason of financial problems due to no public being allowed, I feared how many others could follow.
  10. Few differences with the older riders and those from last couple of decades. Bonus points were included then and now not been for quite a few years, what year did that change? With the older 13 heat format the top riders didn't face each other that often, seem to remember the number 1's only raced each other once in heat 1? Where as with the 15 heat format they face each other more often usually 3 times each meeting. Gate positions, team mates could choose gate position each heat, what year did that change?
  11. No they haven't agreed to not riding in other leagues, they have agreed to stay in Poland and can't leave at moment else will have to go through another 2 weeks quarantine.
  12. Yes they will as soon as travel/quarantine restrictions have been lifted and that will be well before British Speedway can start.
  13. I'd guess they will seed riders into Challenge and probably have it in October like it use to be.
  14. As the grandstand has sold out I think you stand a very good chance of someone buying them from you.
  15. I'm sure there will be refunds if required. Lots of companies like airlines, hotels etc who said they don't normally do refunds are currently doing them.
  16. The National League Colts admission has been £10 adults and free for under 18 since 2016. It has been an absolute bargain, quick look around can see last year Mildenhall were charging £13 last year and Kent were charging £15! So can't complain at an increase to £12 first increase in 4 years for National League with the best racing in the country and good facilities.
  17. In 2016 you could buy a single day ticket or 2 day, for standing it was something like £25 for the final or £30 for both. The final was pretty much a sell out there was only a handful of tickets left before the event in the temporary stand. The race off the temporary stand was only about half full and they were moving people from standing into there if they wanted.
