  1. The whole situation stinks, I liked Fraser, I thought he was one of the most improved riders over the course of the season but this has left a sour taste in the mouth. He’s a young lad who’s finding his way in Europe and I get his Facebook post, but to spit the dummy out over a “lift” that then leads to essentially withholding his services, is just out of order. His behaviour is that of a petulant child throwing his toys out of the pram, just adds fuel to the rumours he’s signed for Poole. Good riddance.
  2. Marek Cieslak, used to be the Poland “coach” he’s working on CanalSports coverage of meetings in Poland now. Found this from an article on the polish site. “I'd like to know who recommended this rider to them. I see he's a guy who can't really ride speedway. But what can you do, but that's exactly what Unia's squad looks like – full of holes," said Marek Cieślak on Canal+ Sport. The Australian left the Jaskółki team without scoring a single point. In Łódź, he had only zeros against his name in four starts. "I don't know why he got the first number. Maybe Stasiu (Burza - editor's note) was hoping for some kind of awakening," added the experienced coach.”
  3. No he won’t stop being silly. Can you blame him? Cause I certainly can’t, track was the same for everyone and 3&4 was a bit patchy early on. Everyone knew belle vue would be spluttering out of the play offs because there team is weak if you take away the top 2. It’s been refreshing seeing someone take it to Bartosz this year, and, I hope Kurtz wins because he’ll land me a nice chunk of money 😁
  4. Whether the things quoted in the article or not were said, which I’m inclined to think they have been, some of the quotes are shameful. Yeah we all get a little competitive, especially against a rival, but wishing a rider dead after a crash? Come on man, that’s just barbaric. Whoever you are, whether you’re on this forum or not, take yourself away from the sport because there is absolutely NO place for comments like that. Yeah the Glasgow management are just banging the drum again, maybe to fire up the team or draw bigger crowd numbers in. It’s good marketing because it’s all people seem to be talking about. Talking should be done on the track, we all have riders who we like and dislike for whatever reasons, me included, but I wouldn’t for a second ever wish any of them dead. Anyways, as our “partners” up the tigers hopefully they get the win and knock the pirates out.
  5. It’s absolutely pointless comparing it to football. We don’t have the following, certainly in this country, to keep people interested in 2 home meetings a month. Football has millions of fans in the country, speedway be lucky if there’s 10% of that amount of people who attend regularly. If it is one big league, then the clubs and bspa need to lay down the law to the riders. If you signed for a British club before anyone else, then that league takes priority. I get Poland pays the big bucks, but it’s about time someone put them back in there box. They tried being sly a few years back and that soon got overruled. If not, it’s simple, the riders who want to ride over here will, the ones who don’t, well, see ya later. With the polish u24 league not running after this season, there’s going to be a lot of young riders wanting spots over here, a select few may find themselves riding in the second or third division over there. A rotation of a week at home and a week away wouldn’t wash with me. I want to see weekly action at my home track, I’ve known people lose interest because there was a 2 or 3 week gap between meetings. And before anyone says about going away, try going to a midweek track, when my nearest is 2 and a half hours away, working full time and having a family.
  6. Hope I’m wrong come start time, but the promotion have effed up calling this off
  7. Was originally meant to be streamed by BSN before our “hiatus” looks like that part of the site hasn’t been updated.
  8. Yeah I would have thought the stream would be the same as the admittance fee at the stadium.
  9. Sheffield still owe money to companies other than riders for last season.
  10. All I can find is race results on bsn live stats. Wasn’t any updates for the Workington match either, probably no admin’s available.
  11. Good win for the comets, obviously wanted it more. Disappointed with the Tigers performance, was expecting a lot more. Track produced the best racing it has in weeks. Didn’t see the comets struggling to pass. Must have been a bomber Harris impersonator riding today.
  12. Oh shut up twining will you. It’s the first 4 races, you’ll find it’s like this at the majority of tracks. The only one of your riders who had a go was flint and if it wasn’t for Tate riding hard and intelligently, he would have got passed.
