Line up announced just now looks like a good field. Justin Sedgmen (Edinburgh/Birmingham) Dan Bewley (Belle Vue) Craig Cook (Workington/Leicester) Kyle Howarth (Scunthorpe/Sheffield) Antti Vuolas (Workington) Norick Blodorn (Belle Vue) Charles Wright (Redcar / Oxford) Paul Starke (Glasgow) Gino Manzares (USA) Simon Lambert (Scunthorpe) Alex Martin (USA) Adam Ellis (Ipswich) Ben Barker (Plymouth) Danny King (Redcar / Ipswich) Lewis Kerr (Berwick) Jan Kvech (King’s Lynn) Excited to see how Jan Kvech goes around the northside arena. Should be a good competitive meeting. -
Well the start Marshall is having a bit of a power trip isn’t he
-
And I thought we had a dust problem at Northside
-
Was an accident. Keynan won’t have done it on purpose. They’re good friends and ride together in the polish u24 league. It’s a shame what’s happened, but I wouldn’t hold it against him if Workington signed him. If it can be worked out and he fits, Erik Riss wouldn’t be a bad shout.
-
Oh don’t mention dropping reserves Steve Such a shame for Tate, hopefully a smooth recovery for him and look forward to seeing him next season. As for the rest of the season, guest choices look good with Tate in some good company regarding his average. If it allows, personally, I’d look at getting someone in and having a reshuffle but it’s just who’s out there.
-
I’m not agreeing with said person, cause to be honest, I don’t agree or like the majority of things they say. But, there is a time and a place. That place is not when an 18 year old, is laying on a track with serious injuries that nobody knew the extent of.
-
You’ll know as much as me
-
At the moment no, but you already knew that. With where the stadium etc is now it wouldn’t be out of the question if they moved up.
-
I reckon yous should both put the bottle down before posting on here. Also, instead of slating an 18 year old why don’t you educate yourself and give him a chance before making assumptions.
-
How is it in a mess? If our homegrown riders were good enough they’d have a team place, it’s as simple as that. Take your stupid brexit tunnel visioned glasses off.

What makes Glasgow and Poole so special and worthy over everyone else?

Oxford Vs Workington June 26 2024

Just a bit of bad journalism. Transferred one rider out and a fresh rider in that’s all. You really think Andrew and Steve would give up there prized asset that easily? -
Guessing you live in a mud hut and have no access to tv? Any meeting I’ve watched at BV doesn’t matter if you’re first out the traps, you’re under attack until the chequered flag
-
Exactly. Tate is a much better rider than Connor, I mean that in the most respectable way. Tate is destined for the top and anyone with a speedway brain can see that.
-
My thoughts exactly MM anyone who turns there nose up at Zischke is an absolute fool. I haven’t seen a kid ride a bike with as much class and style as him in a long time. Comments are lead by the usual trouble marker on speedway Facebook posts.
-
The absolute state of some of the comments on belle vue Facebook post is a disgrace. Yes I can imagine people aren’t too happy about dropping mountain, but who else would go to put Zischke in realistically? You can’t drop Bailey as he’s a rising star and any other position would be out of the question. How about you get behind your new rider instead of putting digs in. Majority of you will never have seen him ride so give him a chance instead of writing him off. Oh, and yes, from what I’ve seen he’s a much better rider than mountain.

Course we won’t have. They’ve just made a team change -
Oh god yeah. That polish under 24 league is a death trap. Mind you, so is the other league what poor klindt got wiped out in!
-
He did. But maybe it was probably because of which team had offered him a place.
-
Yeah we will see. Much better championship average than mountain, so reckon you’ll be eating your words once Tate gets settled.

Scunny v Edinburgh D/H 28.06.2024
CTD26 replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Just seen the video of the heat in question, Luke riding like you’d expect a rider in front to ride. Defending his position from a rider behind fair and square. As for fredriksson well that was just plain dirty. The look over the shoulder knowing exactly what he was doing, I’m all for hard racing but come on. -
Haha I knew this would come back to bite as soon as I read this thread
-
This is what’s annoying me a bit here. Most folk having a debate on whether vinnie or max is the man for the job. Talking about championship level speedway. Last night was national league, at a track which is his home track, against riders he should be beating anyways because he’s racing in the championship. It’s completely irrelevant.
-
Yeah he’s got the makings of a good rider he just needs to probably adjust his riding style a tad. Over trying is just asking for trouble but that’ll come with experience and age. He’s only a young kid so plenty of years in the sport coming his way. Not sure if he has a mentor or not, but if he hasn’t, one would help him long term.
-
Seen plenty riders give it 110% and manage to keep hold of the bike. There’s going for it and reckless and I know which category he’s falling into at the minute. How he hasn’t been more seriously injured lately is nothing short of a miracle.
