  1. I hear what you say but it was meant as a team issue to prevent individuals being selfish. How often do these individuals get caught anyway? Everyone needs to care ! It has a roll on effect when someone takes banned substances.
  2. Maybe the rules need to be that if a team member gets caught then the whole team gets banned for a month, that should inspire each team member to deter whoever is thinking about taking anything, not to. The one caught then gets a ban and on returning from this then needs to prove they have worked with a drugs support service.
  3. Totally agree, it's not the first time a top rider has been caught taking drugs. Richie maybe thought he'd get away with it , how often he was doing this recreationaly is up to him but ignorance of after effects on himself and more importantly others is shameful. On the other hand if , as has come out his drink was spiked then he's been very unlucky.
  4. Looking forward to this meeting, away working down here so found something to do weather dependent.
  5. The problem with this format is most riders would expect to be paid unlike times gone by when a rider would go almost anywhere for second halves etc just to get some laps in . Obviously if there isn't payment offered, then it's the rides choice to take part at their own costs. Speedway over the years has become it's own enemy as far as money being paid out to riders, who, like I've said expect it now. Not all juniors expect it of course.
  6. Your right, he's had a very poor season and I'm sure even he'd agree with that .
  7. I'd like to see Kyle Newman back next season, he's settled into being a reliable points scorer.
  8. Agree with you on hume, gone backwards this year imo, looks unsure of riding lines on nearly every track and is passed easily without any fight. Pity though as he once did look a decent prospect.
  9. Hopefully Craig cook will be in the team building list as he deserves a chance to rebuild his career if he chooses it's still something he wants to do.
  10. He must of been given it and decided to wear it in a meeting, looks like an American track so sometimes they can wear any race jacket.
  11. I can think and say what I want mate, it doesn't hurt anyone does it? That's the trouble in life, people expect too much!
  12. Good luck to Ashton, he's certainly a very good rider and got all the making of achieving world class status in the not too distant future.Hopefully he'll be guided by having the right people around him and not waste this obvious talent he's got.
  13. Ashton boughen is a very promising rider considering he's only started riding recently, if he has the desire and some decent backing he could easily be another dan bewley in the making.
  14. Also people winge about hold ups and meetings taking forever to finish - surely this idea of staggered restarts would see meetings finish in the early hours next day. But speedway does need a shake up in some way.
  15. First thought was that you've spelt Lewis Kerr's name wrong.
  16. This new rider isn't one I've seen before, I guess he's very new to the sport as he looked very inexperienced, maybe being in races with riders of armadales standard should give him chance to learn. Maybe not after seeing the result from Kent.
