  1. As proved recently they do in the hope of not being tested.
  2. Hanging would be too good for see you next Tuesdays like that.
  3. There's quite a few riders that fit that description
  4. It's looking certain that Jason is returning to ride speedway for a team in the near future, people need to get over his past because if it's your team he rides for then I'm sure he'll be cheered as he starts to win races. Like I've said in posts before, I don't think any club will be bothered if a few don't attend because of Jason being there.
  5. I don't know, i remember he sponsored a few riders back when Newcastle were running.
  6. Just wondering if honest Jon is ok that used to post about workington, he's not said anything for a while and spoke alot of sense. Hope your ok .
  7. That doesn't mean he's of that standard though, his ability is comfortable at nl level or he'd of progressed to the championship by now, he hasn't just started riding.
  8. Thanks for clearing that up Kevin, like I said it was a good opportunity for Danny to get some bike time and possibly try things to gain some confidence.
  9. Probably making the numbers up, let's be honest Danny isn't too far from njl standard and could do with the extra practice as I'm sure that's why he's doing it .
  10. I didn't realise anyone riding as a track reserve ( not in the 'line up ' ) was picked at random and didn't have to qualify for that position.
  11. Never produced much? He made it to the Cardiff gp line up which very few riders from this country ever do, and I bet you cheered him on that day like all his haters that are now slagging him off.
  12. The trouble is when you need bits possibly just before the meeting starts or mid meeting and then go to settle up and the spares man has gone (, not usually in most cases) and then what? Chase them round the country when all that's needed is the spares van to contact the club and the club takes it out of the wages or speaks to the rider to get it payed back . Some of the spares vans aren't strict enough, you don't go shopping and pay for the goods sometime in the future! If at all , I think it boils down to trust and honesty on the part of the rider.
  13. I'm sure Jason is aware of the consequences of making a public return and whatever team he rides for will remind him of this, but at the same time have a responsibility to help him too . Jason has broad shoulders so name calling and verbal abuse won't have a impact on him. If people don't want to go and watch the meeting he's in then away meetings are hardly affected because it's once or twice a season and home team ( whoever that might be) meetings would only affect the individuals who choose not to go which I doubt would be that many in the great scheme of things. Speedway is far from a mass spectator sport so no difference to people not going anyway for reasons like watching on streaming or being on holiday etc. There's also the hypocritical people who give it the " I'm not going" attitude and still go!! I've known people like this over the years.
  14. One and borrowed tracks in the past other than where we are now. I was talking of the now and not in the past history.
  15. Irrelevant, we are running and no talk of that changing but in this current climate nothing is definite like other clubs know to their sad ends.
  16. And rode really well according to people who were there, not long till he's back in a team.
  17. Let's see how yours is in a few years, if your still running that is !!! least at Berwick we've got covered seats, never hear any complaints about the track .
  18. Again, I'm sure there's plenty fit in that category.
  19. Nothing much to worry about, that applies to dozens of riders that spit their dummy out.
  20. He's not the only speedway rider that's in your words "mentally unstable" , far from it .
  21. Not forgetting other speedway criminals like jerran hart who with help from mate's beat up a member of the armed forces for fun or James purchase who killed someone through dangerous driving. I don't remember these individuals getting much stick and infact purchase was welcomed back to cradley with open arms. There's a few more riders who have done crimes similar. Jason hopefully has a second chance.
  22. I think you might be proved wrong, this is speedway and anything can and does happen.
