  1. Ben Morley must be the all time record holder for appearance and point scoring in the 3rd division or national league as it's now known.
  2. Can't see King going unless Hawkins goes, they have been joined at the hip for years.
  3. Yes and trainie electrition by the way he used a screwdriver
  4. The team manager does most of their work away from the meeting itself, like has been pointed out their job at the meeting is pretty limited but away from that there is a lot to organise like team declaration and making riders available sometimes to other teams.
  5. Sounds like a description of how Adam roynon rides.
  6. Get their names engraved on the trophy as winners now as it's almost a certainty.
  7. I think I'd rather watch the tractors going round and round than listen to some of the riders trying to string an interesting sentence together.
  8. Belle vue massively stronger with Cairns instead of schimelt.
  9. We aren't all experts like yourself, brain cell used up now.
  10. Again a few riders just not good enough, halder isn't to be relied on for a good points haul ever.
  11. Definitely, he'll score three times more than who he's in place of.
  12. If foord has no bikes then surely and in my experience of attending meetings a team mate would say " use my bike" . No point being a team if you can't or don't help each other. Even if the bike wasn't set up comfortably at least he'd of completed the rides required.
  13. Didn't attend the meeting but reading what went on I'd say there was some rule bending done by poole, probably would of won regardless having a very strong team . Not as good as in past seasons but not good enough for the top league anymore.
  14. Let's be honest, starke and roynon should of retired a few years ago . Either they or their sponsors must have more money than sense to keep slogging away .
  15. Ermolenko was never going to be any good as manager, in his day he was the best rider on the planet and had hundreds if not thousands of fans but management is a lonely place when the chips are down. As mentioned Peter Adams would be the natural choice but its quite obvious he has no interest in taking the job and to be fair he's more than put alot of his life into managing so is maybe glad of the rest from it. I saw John sampford ( rye house) managed a challenge match recently, he'd be ok but again probably got no interest in doing it. Birmingham are definitely in a mess.
  16. Did he buy garritys van when it became redundant?
  17. Haha, kyran struggles at every meeting to beat anyone, Edinburgh would of found it hard with the team they put together in the ndl.
  18. Absolutely right, I know alot people who don't go to any speedway because of how it's run nowadays.
  19. Agreed, starke has struggled to score anything of real note for years, his demeanor comes across like his heart or head isn't in speedway anymore.
