  1. You must've been up early to type all that out! P.s Do you have the lottery numbers for tonight please ?
  2. I also said this at 8.07 am ! Did anybody else on this thread back a Bham win ??? Wasnt going to mention it...but as you've brought it up...I'll bask in the ambience !
  3. If taking it to a last heat decider away from home, was a poor display....God help all the other teams if/when BV get it together! B'hams reserves were the difference!
  4. The more the grip the better for B'ham riders !
  5. How do they normally want it? Will there be 'dirt' for entertaining racing? Or just 'slick' for a bore-fest? I think KL will win by 10-14 points!
  6. Need to change Lampart for a so called Heat Leader!
  7. I think you must have been watching a different meeting? there was plenty of passing from where I was watching the meeting? The consistency of the 'gate' positions are always up for question...but it also has a lot to do with how the rider handles the first 2 bends on approach! (there was a race win from each gate last night...albeit only 1 from gate 3 ) If riders did/do a track walk, then they would've seen where the dirt was/wasnt? they wouldn't need to have to ride it to find out? Pawlicki going down gave BV a 2nd bite of the cherry, had he stayed on B'ham would still have won! ....may be he thought that the race would be awarded? Would like to know why it wasnt? the refereeing has been poor this season! Why no warning for Kurtz moving at the start? Hoping Brennan/Worrall can pass a bit of 'track set-up' knowledge, when B'ham visit BV next week!
  8. I don't get that one either? I'd class previous tracks such as Eastbourne/Wolverhampton/Arena-Essex, as the 'home-advantage' type venues? Failing that....Leicester's gate-'n'-go type track is the new Home advantage for me....simply because the home side can get the bike set-up just right for getting out the starts....
  9. I said pre-season that Cook would be a great acquisition for B'ham in the Prem! The suggestion got quashed...mostly grunts about Cook's attitude? Assuming that he's not a Team player and may be difficult to man manage? This probably relates to previous post (iainb)
  10. I think the weather will win this one!
  11. I know...very strange....I thought they'd spent a shed load on new shale during the summer?
  12. Mountain and Bailey will be more than a match for Flint/Cook! Ben Cook goes well at PB.... Need Millik/Pawliki to hit double figures....(give them some dirt....ignore weather forecasts and get the track ready to race!)
  13. Looks doubtful to me? bit similar to the last match....might get started, but most likely wont finish!?
  14. weather forecast not looking good for later!
  15. If there's dirt on the track and an outside line, then I back B'ham to win!
  16. I'd change the word 'best', to 'cheapest'.... Its obvious the side was put together on the lowest budget possible! Not criticizing that....just stating the obvious!
  17. Poor Joe...couldn't get out the starts and that was the difference between a good/poor meeting! I'd be more concerned about 'Becker' ? Is Leicester always prepared as 'slick' as that ? The track looked great and was very smooth, but after the first 2 bends on the first lap, there were no racing lines at all ? That said...it saved Bham from a complete hammering!
  18. Well if you think that was a good performance, then I'd say that you were the one doing the 'boozing'!
  19. What about Heats 5 and 6 ?? Makes you laugh when you read the Bham's main web page? a 16 point defeat is an improved showing on recent performances ....Who are they trying to kid? I think B'ham were fortunate that it was a 'gaters' track, otherwise Leicester would have certainly won by more!
  20. No surprises ...another useless performance from a woeful team!
  21. Another 4 points from our no.1... Millik... is woeful!
