I can understand everyone's panic/concern....but as a 'regular' attendee, one can only sit and wait..... We have 2 people running the Club who are 'by' previous team selection/s not as good as other clubs (pretty poor in fact... I thought the inclusion of Ermolenko/Adams, was to address this...but as a so called fan, I'm still not clear whether Sam is having any input in to the Team?) However, what they lack in knowledge of what a good/competitive team looks like.....they make up for it, with their commitment and enthusiasm to keep going ! Just have to hope the fans both Home and Neutral, show the same passion!

Well said.... If anything, it's giving B'ham pre-season attention....not sure whether it's positive/negative...but it's still attention! There is obvious varying degrees of interest.....from, general speedway 'fan'....Premier League opposition 'fan' and past/present 'Bham' 'fan'..... With myself being the latter.... Personally, I don't have much faith in the current consortium, regards Team recruitment....this opinion is based on the last 2 seasons of poor team building and poor Home meeting performances! However, as a 'fan' of speedway, I'm extremely grateful to N.T for keeping the 'club' afloat and giving people like myself a chance of seeing the sport from a local perspective. If, the club assemble a competitive side, by that I mean, a side that doesn't have to win every home meeting, but at least keep the scores close, then I'll definitely be at as many Home/Away meetings as possible. At my 'long in the tooth' age....I'm easily pleased and am just happy to see close racing!

So, B'ham promotion are supposedly speaking to 6/8 available (whatever criteria that means?) riders in order to finalise the last 2 (GP standard (not my words) riders) Please, please, please don't leave this decision in the hands of previous team selectors! Hopefully, the promotion have been taking note of forum posters and should by now, know, what's needed, for a reasonable chance of progress!

Yes, I agree, no problem at all with these signings, I'm just merely pointing out that (I think...) other teams second string riders are 'stronger'... (which makes the last 2 signings 'vital'...) Flint should be able to hold his own at reserve....Brennan/Cook will be exciting to see progress....Worrall is steady .....and cant really say much about Lampart ? Laguta/Lingdren would be perfect!!

Yes, I agree, I'm just posting coz I'm bored ! Lol However, the first 5 signings are signings that nobody else wanted in fairness. There hasn't been any coups yet! Just my opinion!

Would've thought that the way to building a strong side is to sign your so called big hitters first, then fill in the gaps with the second strings? Cmon Sam the manager.... make a statement about the top 2 riders that are going to make fans want to turn up?

All other teams No.3 are stronger/better than Worrall ... all N0.4's are better/stronger than Brennan.....all No.2's look better/stronger than Z.Cook....just my opinion !
