  1. Can't see him averaging 5, let alone 6.....? Just thought I'd ask 'Speedway Fan...aka Laurence Rogers 'expert' opinion?
  2. As you are the man that signed him.....'will he achieve his average'?
  3. What Berwick would do for a rider like the one in the photo? (i'm thinking it's 'Mauger'?)
  4. I think upping averages (for all riders) is irrelevant....by that, I mean, that realistically, all of B'ham's riders could up their average and yet they will/most probably, still finish bottom!? Simply because their so-called TOP 2 are not in the same league as other teams! I personally don't think that all riders need to 'improve' to win the League!
  5. They need to make changes before the season starts ! Lol
  6. If B'ham finish 7th....finish being the operative word....then they've done well! The closer the season gets, the more I notice what a poor side Rogers has put together again!
  7. Fair enough....though they were a bloomin good pairing in their day ! Great to watch!
  8. I'm sure Cradley won many accolades with the strength of 2 riders? (Hancock/Hamill)
  9. If he's not mixing it now, then he never will (imo).....he will always be a gate n go type rider..... Sam Hagon, will supersede Kemp in no time at all!
  10. It's a shame that we couldn't have persuaded Scott Nicholls to sign...he is fabulous around PB!
  11. If the meetings are consistently one sided (as a lot of people are predicting...), then I'm inclined to pick n choose and take in a couple of Leicester/Oxford meetings, instead of......!
  12. And 'presumably'....'he doesn't even after fork out for travel costs' ?
  13. LOL .....I certainly don't have blind faith! As its a prediction thread? I predict that B'ham will never have a competitive side so long as Laurence Rogers pulls the strings! I watched the 'Club' interview with 'Pawliki'.....it wasn't very inspiring! (albeit, his English is poor.....better than my Polish though )
  14. Unfortunately, its easier to predict who's the weakest team as opposed to the strongest !
  15. I would say a home advantage would be more prominent, when the so called 'set-up' is critical ? (prominent being the operative word....) Eastbourne/Belle Vue being the 2 extremes...... That's just my opinion....I have no technical knowledge to add any weight to this, just 50 odd years supporting the sport!
  16. Other sports have bettered their product! Speedway hasn't!
  17. May be its an age thing... but my preference is value for money! Give me close racing over meaningless silverware any day of the week!
  18. We've had this debate before? Winning isn't essential for me.... I'd rather lose 44-46 and see close/exciting racing, than win by 20 points or more....(with races being won FTG)
  19. It depends by how much we/they lose by?
  20. I think that there will only be 3 riders that maintain/improve(slightly) their average at B'ham this season? Cook/Brennan/Flint.
  21. Well, surely, the Promotion expect more from Milik, otherwise there's no point at all signing him over say someone like Zagar or Schlein ?
  22. Worrall is so-so at PB....If he gates, he'll do ok....but if he doesn't, then it will be a 'low' score! We've got some steady-Eddie's (Worral/Brennan/Flint...) we need Pawliki/Milik and Lampart to be scoring at least 20/22 points between them, for there to be any chance of a home win!?
