I believe a cross league cup is in the pipeline (next year), I believe it was mentioned at the recent Diamonds talk-in.

King's Lynn Stars 2017
diamond@heart replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I don't understand some of this negativity against Rose, did he not put almost 2 points on his average last year and is likely to be riding at reserve again. Got to be one of the better reserves in this league in 2017?? -
Championship Teams Comparison Time
diamond@heart replied to balderdash&piffle's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I would have said that Robert Branford was head and shoulders above BWD, in my opinion, one of the reasons why I think Sheffield will start as title favourites. I think the Diamonds have a good top 5 but not the best but our reserve pairing let us down. I will still be at Brough every Sunday though cheering them on and I think it will be a cracking season with a few surprises along the way. Maybe even peace and harmony on the BSF!!! -
This looks a very good side on paper with a lot of strong personalities and some flat our racers which should make the entertainment value at STMP high, provided you give them a great race track to perform on. I think it will take an even bigger personality to keep them in check but good luck to the Bears in 2017, should make the meetings against the Diamonds interesting, looking forward to them.

If he has potential and unlikely to stab you in the back sounds like a good prospect!!!
-
What average does he come in on?

I for one am happy with the team, great to have Lambert and Worrall back to spearhead our challenge and we should be good at home with the likes of Ludvig, Rose and Morris providing good solid backup. Yes we may be weak on the road but we will wait and see. We signed Kus last year to provide firepower on the road and that never really happened so we may surprise a few with this team on the road. I don't know a lot about Coles but just looked at his scores over the last few meetings for Mildenhall and in all but one match against a NL select he was in double figures and top scored a few times, so it shows he has potential. Yes Danny was poor this year to say the least but I'm prepared to forget that and hope he comes back better and with a point to prove. Having said that I think alot of pressure will be on Danny next year and he will have to silence a lot of his critics and with him being the more senior reserve and technically having to fill Roses/Morris's boots will have a lot to do. Its sad that we could not fit Kus in but someone was always going to be disappointed and George stated that it is not the end of his Newcastle career so no doubt we will see him again and I hope he finds a team, maybe Rye House!!! (ala George's comments last night). I will be interested to hear what the news re: Danny is when it finally comes out. Onwards and upwards and looking forward to 2017

Yes, if a rider is injured during a meeting his rides can be shared out amongst those below him in the averages and not just the reserves.
-
Strange one if it is Grondal as he scored nothing in the match at Brough and 1 at Peterborough. Bit of a strange signing in my opinion if it is him. I'm hoping Lamberts back as if he's not I've got to take my youngest to Kings Lynn to watch him and if he's not riding for them, Sweden or Poland!!!! I wonder how many will be sat at the talk in tonight, smart phone in one hand ready to be the first to post the team on here!!!
-
They would never divulge that sort of information to a lacky like Dave!!! :P
-
Looking forward to tomorrow night to see who/what will be announced and George's take on the new league structure and rules. Will be interesting to see if anyone has come close with some of their proposed teams.
-
What pattern is he gonna put Matt in at 7??
-
But the quote you quote is talking about Lindgren and not Kus??? I thought Kus was good at home but poor away, but a lot of Diamonds riders are like that, I would have Kus back.
-
Will we have a Cardiff Grand Prix style unveiling where they come out in black cloaks and reveal who they are one by one!!!
-
Would that only be an issue if you use riders who race on a Sunday, in your own team!! Surely they could not make us switch our race night just because it clashes with another countries race night. Would not want to go into the Elite League (sorry Premiership) anyway, has too many problems and I think the Championship is/was a better league.
-
No they just had to buy a bigger bit of string to connect the two cups together!!! :P
-
That sounds nasty, is the illness or treatment, either way neither sounds good!!!
-
Am I correct that the team or majority of team to be announced at talk in held on 28 November 2016?
-
It is better on the whole, so I'm told!!!
-
Snap, I think he is top drawer and very entertaining and would be a great addition, just going off what I have read on other threads. Big question is would he be able to patch things up with Phil the Start Marshall!!
-
Garrity is good but comes with lots of baggage according to most. Not sure what that baggage is???? Answers anyone
-
No just at the Showground, he was like that at most tracks, I think he had one good meeting at Redcar early on!! With all these people mentioning bring Philips back, it does not matter if he comes back on a 0.00 average, he does not add anything to the team or any true scoring potential and I think we would be better off with Smith or Knight. Jack Smith 6.32 (NL), Jake Knight 8.53 (NL) A Morris 9.77 (NL), E Perks 8.25 (NL) and D Phillips 6.25. Would rather have Knight or Perks over Phillips any day.

I thought Schofield!!!
