How refreshing to see Kye gating well again tonight, along with passing from the back. Also very pleasing to see Jonatan's confidence visibly go up in each race. Well done Monarchs, a nice surprise tonight. Also good too see Jacob doing well tonight. Always liked him as a Monarch. Hopefully Tate can get back to full confidence/fitness soon.

Warsaw GP Saturday 17th May
Monarchs2468 replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
That would be great. What are your ideas? -
Totally agree. Hopefully some riders become/are available and willing. Things can change throughout the season so who knows.

I could be wrong, and please correct me if I am, but the ethos of the Monarchs has always been to build a competitive team but also one that may take time to grow into a season. As you say, nothing wrong with that. We gambled this year in quite an exciting way and it hasn't paid off this time. It's such a shame because with Oskar, Victor and Justin it would have made for a competitive season.

Edinburgh v Glasgow April 4th

So the cheering wasnt loud enough for you. How sad. I hope those on the 4th bend cheer loud enough for your liking on Friday. The Wembley and Cardiff comment was to pre-emt comments, but that passed you by too. -

Just checking that (a) you understand how sport works and (b) you recognise it's speedway. Enjoy the deserved win but let's not pretend I'll be walking into some atmospheric den next Friday. Ps Yes, atmosphere exists. Yes, the Wembley finals were great, yes, Cardiff had great times etc etc etc -

Well done Chris, I'm absolutely delighted for him. Watching him gives me so much enjoyment and hopefully a few years left in the tank. -

Thank you. Yes, that's definitely heavily outscoriing, or is for me anyway, but I think you underestimate the Glasgow reserves (as have others). -

Your xenophobic comments regarding Zmarzlik recently and your Manchester slums comment just now are so poor. -

Which tickets were blocked off? When I logged in all of A, B and C were up for sale and I got the seats I was looking for. Have they since stated pulling seats to save them for the 1 day people? -

I agree with you, the pricing is too high. If both days do go ahead I think they had best have a package available to ensure Friday is well attended. -

They should know but the delay, and lack of communication regarding ticket sale date and cost, does make me wonder if there are things going on in the background as per other rumours (i.e Switching weekends with Gorzow or cancellation of the Friday night). Anyway, I'm basing my costings on the SoN event last year and the cheapest grandstand ticket was £85.00 for the final so I'm looking at roughly £170.00 this time. -

I couldn't find them in the emails I received so I logged back into https://kstorun.kupbilety.pl/ and downloaded the PDF's from there. -
That crossed my mind too. I'm not a fan but he rides Armadale incredibly well and might be the best we can get.

Riga tickets are no trouble at all. Wroclaw tickets, for the main stand, sell very quickly (days, not hours). The back-straight take a bit longer and the standing tickets (corners) are last to go. But don't hang about. It's a lovely city, great stadium and you'll hopefully see a cracking meeting. Enjoy. -
I agree with all you say. However, we don't have the finances to build a good team anymore. Plus a lot of 'upper end' riders might deem us as too far up north. We've been so lucky recently with Cook, Masters, Pickering but I don't see that happening now.

No-one likes a postponement but I was hoping you'd come back with something positive to add. Any thoughts for the fans who travelled from Scunthorpe? Any thoughts on the tweet showing the track in great condition....yet, despite knowing the forecast, announced it was all fine. You've all commented prior, but despite being visable on the forum since have yet to comment.
