  1. So is the mystery over? Poole up to silly games before season started; Newcastle acted with great integrity and Eastbourne once they knew what had been done played a straight bat and tried not to spill the beans, forcing a statement from Poole to fess up??? Or is there another theory?
  2. I agree 500-600 (which would probably be norm for better recent NL Clubs as an average in recent / past 3-4 seasons like Brummies / Kings / Mildenhall / Eastbourne) should be the target. Lot of noise though about NDL in 2021 being for second teams of development (NDL/SDL/MDL) standard. Does this explain Rye House apparent plan to ride in NDL Trophy in 2020 to test the water as if not any Clubs standalone in 3rd Tier Rye House would have to go straight to Championship in 2021? Would that rule out Len if Kent in Championship or will Len try to get Kent in PL in 2021 which was believed at one point to be where they were headed in 2020?
  3. One rider per team I thought with CL average over 4 points allowed in NDL Team
  4. Nice spread of Fixtures at Home for Brummies 3 - 4 home most months. Look forward to the Northern Tour in June too
  5. I think Kent have made a mistake not riding NDL on a Monday. Seen names like Kemp mentioned. With only 6 Home Meetings in NDL for Kent and with Championship having 4 Wednesday Tracks (Brummies / Rebels / Kings / Pirates) Kemp (as an example) will be riding on 8 Wednesdays for his CL Club. Makes it impossible to ride for an NDL Club on a Wednesday surely?
  6. May it be that step up to Championship has been given 100% focus and once they have them Fixtures sorted then they will focus on NDL and see who is available and prepared to commit for just 5-6 home NL Matches and same away. May be if they are going to run Wednesday's in NDL too that with 4 CL Teams and guys like Kemp/Thomas/Stoneman/Jenkins riding for another CL Team(s) they are struggling to find heat leaders?
  7. Be great to have Rye House back at some point soon. Question is, at what level would you see them coming back, especially if rumours of no NDL in 2021 are correct?
  8. Most have done this for a considerable time haven't they?. Hardly ground-breaking!
  9. Does have an air of desperation about it. Fans expecting and led to believe there would be decisions made on final 2 Team places once Australian Finals were over but with nothing to report come up with a big announcement announcement to say Havvy as away team manager and Racesuits is something of a letdown to put it mildly.
  10. Squad system would be worth trying. Shame this Transfer Window only applies at minute to Premier, you'd turn up at Birmingham last season not having a clue who may or may not be there! Continuity generally breeds success.
  11. Kennedy and Ben Morley would be safe option as both have experience of tracks and Morley would have added desire to stick one across 2 nearest rivals, one who ditched him last year and one he may think should have taken on this year.
  12. You've hit the Rider nail on the head. If they were waiting for anything worthwhile from Aussie Championships - looks like the cupboard of anything really interesting emerging in 2020 is very bare of ones who haven't already been tried or who don't want to come over. Start looking at who IS available !
  13. I agree, really nice lad and had more than his fair share of bad injuries.
  14. Crazy decision and crazy logic. How do you think many will start saving? By missing a few meetings at their local tracks that's how!
  15. Fair point Steve but couldn't they have gone and tried for Drew Kemp; Jack Thomas, Kyle Bickley; Anders Rowe etc if there had been a long term plan and will to?
  16. This is The Championship and the League in which the majority of the brightest young prospects born bred and nurtured in the UK are racing and learning their craft. Surely Poole could and should have invested in some young emerging UK talent?
  17. Andy Street is very much Elected Mayor of Birmingham which is part of the West Midlands in this context. Very good on jumping on bandwagons and very good at hiding when the going gets tough. Classic 21st century politician on a huge wage! Could have been worse tough as he narrowly beat Karren Brady to Tory nomination
  18. may be a solution is Northern DL e.g having 500cc and 250 / 125 cc races so a "Development Team" can include riders of different ages / different bike Class all racing under a "Development Team banner" so creating a conveyor belt over 3-5 years.
  19. Other than Sam Hagon and possibly Eli Meadows the 15 year old cupboard looks pretty sparse at the moment and if you look at SDL/MDL very little to frankly enthuse over from what I saw at Birmingham during MDL in 2019. Moto X may be a sensible route to go and one thing Leicester have ability to do is offer pretty much unlimited practise.
  20. somebody mentioned Tom Brennan on Twitter not having an NDL place, would be handy for him to ride for IOW and average may fit?
  21. Wonder if Kemp will be back for another short NDL season?
  22. Having seen Leon at Brum last season in NDL and a few times in 2019 I would say he is already well ahead of Bickley who is poor so far on any smaller or technical track. I think it will do Leon good if he can double down at Armadale and may be as you suggest Bickley has missed a trick not trying to do the same rather than BVColts a track he already knows well and may be in his comfort zone.
  23. Good luck to the Fixture planner getting that top 3 to ride in every Match with then riding for Friday and Saturday night CL Teams. Potent top 3 but a long tail unless someone really improves (McGurk possibly can)
