I last spoke to him at the end of jan and he said he was definitely coming over with flights booked for April, not spoke since, so don’t know if he’s changed his mind or not. Will be gutted if he doesn’t make it over though

From speaking to him I’m under the impression that Peterborough is his number 1 choice and management are trying to make it fit with him in the side. But you never know, either way he will be racing in England for sure

I just don’t get it all though, why grade the rising stars of it doesn’t affect the team building average anyway ?

As far as I know we don’t get any more team points to play with by using a 1 star rider, that’s what doesn’t make sense to me. By picking a “4 star” rider your clearly having an advantage over picking a “1 star” rider yet we still only have 35 odd points to play with for the rest of the team

I just don’t really get the whole star system, if you build a team to a certain average and then choose a rider from a list that doesn’t affect the team building average why not just choose the 4 star riders ?

He’s only a 1 star rated rider ? I would have thought the 6 prem clubs would have gone for the 3 star riders at least, I hope he goes well for us but I can’t see him beating Tom bacon or Tom Brennan or drew kemp

Kingsley is rated 3 stars, I think Peterborough have the lowest star rated rider in Jordan palin only rated 1 star

Did I read somewhere that all the rising stars are going to be announced at the same time ? I see Poole are announcing theirs tomorrow night at 7pm, hopefully this means we might have an announcement from all the teams maybe.

As it stands there wouldn’t be any difference in racing between the 2 leagues in my opinion. If anything the championship will probably have better racing, you can’t expect a rising star in the premier league to mix it up with Jack holder for example....The premiership will Never be what the elite league once was unfortunately

I think the crowds would take time to increase but I think bigger sponsors and more coverage would defiantly increase. I just can’t see why Eurosport would want to show a watered down British league for the next 5 years.

I don’t know why they didn’t just keep the points limit but just say you need to have a British under 21 at number 7. Crumpy is most probably on the move and batch could become stuck as he has a high average as well, if the bsp get to write the rules every year why not give the clubs the biggest points limit you can to entice better riders to consider racing in the uk

The 6 premiership teams are being very quiet compared to the championship clubs regarding team lineups. I wonder when we will start getting some lineups confirmed ?

I think Max ruml would be a great signing to have at Ipswich. Just won the AMA national back in December. The Americans typically go well on the smaller tracks so foxhall is perfect. He deserves a chance to try out in Europe in my opinion
