Peterborough v Belle Vue 17 April
Gasser90 replied to Rob B's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
They are no where near signing a number 1 from what I’ve heard tonight -
When was this.? On the pboro page ?
-
Should have put cook out in 13 instead of Andersen! The engine problems I’m sure was due to them screaming down the straights and then shut them off and lock up on the bend, notice the amount of back firing.
-
First time visiting Leicester tonight for me. And I tell you what. That’s a lovely little speedway venue they have there, and there’s nothing that would cost an absolute fortune to make. That is the type of thing pboro should be looking to do. Forget the big grandstand etc. what Leicester have is a perfect speedway venue
-
Lol I’m not even gonna go there mate
-
R/R for pedersen at Leicester tomorrow according to club website, more info to come before the meeting apparently
-
No tweet or Facebook post so they kept that quiet !
-
Just seen on panthers website that they posted last night it will be r/r for pedersen
-
Yet Ipswich and belle vue released theirs yesterday ? That’s because both teams know what 1-7 are racing, clearly Leicester and wolves can’t release a preview without knowing pboro and Lynn teams
-
Still no match previews from either pboro or kings Lynn for their matches tomorrow. Something a bit fishy going on
-
Does anyone have any concrete info as to what the hell is going on at pboro ? We race in 48 hours. It’s almost certain pedersen has gone so why no press release or anything. I thought there would be a meeting preview out today for Thursday. It’s like they’ve given up. It’s going to be the last season so stuff it. Makes no sense at all
-
God knows ha ! I’m getting bored of the radio silence now. If it’s true about the visas then I can’t see pboro getting an international rider this month at least. Then if we lose 4 out of 5 of the meetings then that’s playoffs out the question
-
I’m guessing pboro have re-declared to as the list in the SGB website has been updated this morning and nicki is still on it so we will just use R/R on Thursday
-
Yeah of course. I was just checking to see if lindgren had been registered this week as he is supposedly going to pboro
-
Go on scbgb.co.uk then go to downloads then click on registered riders. And that list is updated weekly
-
That list is a bit iffy that’s why I use the scb ones, the one on British speedway website has Aaron summers listed so it’s not correct
-
Yeah I know Simon is on the list. I said Robert and tungate arnt on the list as of last week
-

-
Lambert and tungate are not on the list as of 6th April ?
-
It’s probably the only way to actually find out what’s going on as the club have gone radio silent, all it takes is a statement saying nicki has departed and we will update in due course when we find a replacement
-
If you go on the scb website you can see a list of every rider registered to ride British speedway. Pedersen is no longer on the list so that definitely proves he’s gone, just keep your eye on the list when it next updates and you should find out if pboro have signed anyone
-
Let’s have it then… god knows what the weather will be like. God knows what team pboro will have. however I’m going 50-40
-
Apparently they were going to fine him his fee per match at pboro for every time he rode so essentially he would be riding for free. And they would take back some of his sign on fee which I’m guessing is a substantial amount of money, if you wa sin his position it’s simple really isn’t it…. You leave pboro and ride where the money is
-
I said to you to ask MT. He a really honest bloke but I can’t disclose every piece of info because that’s not fair on him or the club is it . If you have your own questions for the club or want answers then contact them maybe
-
To be fair to the club. It’s not pedersen calling the shots here. His polish club have been pretty harsh on him and left him with a decision to make, and it’s a no brainer for him to leave pboro with what his polish club are willing to do. If he hadn’t have crashed we wouldn’t even be having this discussion and all would be well, unfortunately it’s speedway and Poland rule the roost
