Well no. I wouldn't have thought so, but it's still very quiet? All I've seen so far about the NL next year is Buxton are running and Kent are unlikely... all a bit quiet
-
Do we even know the whole make up of the National League yet? Which teams are riding? Is there a trophy this year etc? It's being left awfully late this year

2026 Premiership is Go! - At least 5 teams

I'm predicting the let down bit 🤔 5 teams all with 'junior' teams too to fill in the gaps... Colts, young stars, lion cubs, steelers and an Ipswich side?? To run a Premiership 'junior' league -

Having to live in Workington will do that to you -
So if a sponsor has pulled out I'm guessing it was a controversial Dane... Marcus Birkemose?
-
Any updates? 😆 taking longer than the PL...
-
Ah my bad, though he'd have started on 2.00 👍 I'm probably a few season behind on the rules tbh as I haven't really bothered with speedway for a few years 😆

Fricke 9.89 Castagna 4.13 Harris 6.53 Cook 6.39 Kvech 6.91 Rushen 2.00 Total: 35.85... Isn't the limit 37?? Why go so far under it? Take Castagna out and there's 5.28 left... exactly Kildemands average...? Would be much stronger. Castagna is one of my favourite riders of all time, but he's not that good really!

I'm sure there are promoters 'trying' but in reality... what are the chances? Genuine question? Where are the most likely sites which are actually realistic to be ready in time, bearing in mind it's just under 4 months until the season starts and absolutely nothing is known, not even any rumours leaked... -
Surely it's a new team running out of an existing track? I can't imagine a new track is going to pop up between now and April? Unless Peterborough can get up and running?

Is Ipswich not part of the 5? Is the mysterious other team part of the 5 and Ipswich potentially the 6th?? -

When was the AGM postponed to? Sometime in January? Also, is there any solid rumours who the 6th team may be... -
Berwick could sign a 4.00 newcomer as their final rider, any ideas who? They'd start at reserve alongside Jack Smith.
-
1. Danny King 8.60 2. Tobias Thomsen 4.81 3. Ben Barker 6.13 4. Joe Thompson 5.87 5. Scott Nicholls 7.88 6. Daniel Klima 4.00 7. 2.71 Left Could go for a new 2.00er or someone like Darryl Ritchings, Jack Smith or Max Perry as the number 7.
-
I thought they got a 25% discount then 2.5% after that. Could be wrong though. So a rider who's got a 4.00 average goes to 3.00 then 2.82 after the 2.5%
-
That's miles below this year's limit...? Surely it's not going to drop that much, if any.
-
Probably more to do with the schedule of riding in 3 different countries rather than anything to do with who or where he's racing.
-
So, 1. Chris Harris 2. Sam Hagon 3. Drew Kemp 4. Leon Flint 5. Kyle Howarth 6. Freddy Hodder 7. 2.00er While that top 4 is insane for the Championship, does that team not have the same issues as this years? A massively long tail. I'm sure Hodder will get better, and realistically a 2.00er (except Rushen who I don't see at Glasgow) isn't going to score lots of points either.
-
Balance of youth and experience in the team... Simon Lambert confirmed 🤣🤣
-
Just about yeah, assuming the limit is still 40
-
1. Josh Pickering 2. Zaine Kennedy 3. Connor Mountain 4. Declan Kennedy 5. Jake Allen 6. 2.00 7. 2.00 Fits a 40 point limit exactly. Once Picko has a proper average his average should drop to 9ish you'd imagine, then replace the 2.00er who's struggling the most with a 3-4 pointer at 6 (a Jack Smith type signing). Weak reserves but looks a decent team at home and an actual number 1, something Scunny fans have been missing for years...
-
Sorry, I thought it was a 38 point limit with a RS, not 40. 🤔
-
1. Emil Sayfutdinov 2. Jonas Jeppesen 3. Tobiasz Musielak 4. Tom Brennan 5. Jason Doyle 6. Jordan Jenkins 7. Cooper Rushen 1. Jason Doyle 2. Adam Ellis 3. Danny King 4. Keynan Rew 5. Tom Brennan 6. Jonas Jeppesen 7. Cooper Rushen Both teams fit but I get the sense that the second team is more realistic. First team is obviously much stronger 🤷♂️
-
Charles Wright, Jason Edwards and Jody Scott would be my first 3 signings. Sounds like Jake Allen will be there too, not a fan personally but he's solid enough I guess. I wouldn't mind someone like Luke Harrison or Connor Mountain at number 2. It's hard to say until the final average limits are out though. 1. Charles Wright 8.89 2. Luke Harrison 4.98 3. Jason Edwards 6.44 4. Jake Allen 6.53 5. Leon Flint 6.96 6. Jody Scott 3.82/Ace Pijper 4.04 7. Max Perry 2.29/2.00er 39.91/39.84

As much as I don't believe the 36 point rumours I actually think your 2nd team is stronger anyway... especially if you swap Flint out for Rowe.
