  1. In that case, Danny's talked about it more than once, because I'm sure it was on the BSN broadcast when Poole visited Redcar in mid June.
  2. Not sure about that - didn't help our lot when they visited the next week.
  3. No, it’s just how it is sometimes with the weather. Weather turned out to be better than expected.
  4. I’ve watched heat 12 back on BSN. Not a great camera angle but it does look like Basso passes after the line. I’ll not send hate mail to the manufacturers just yet.
  5. Certainly if Glasgow had lost at home today, it would set them up badly for next week.
  6. It wasn't a whole wheel, it was more like the width of about two tyres.
  7. The transponders are rubbish. I saw Basso win that with my eyes. I was stood in line with the tapes 3 metres away.
  8. I give up. You're insufferable. 7 passes in 11 heats, whether you've seen it or not. Dullest meeting here this season, but probably more passing than Berwick has seen in all of this year.
  9. LOL, is racing at other tracks really so terrible you have to pretend it doesn't happen anywhere?
  10. In fairness, the ref can make that judgement. I'd just prefer they are always brought back. It can affect other riders.
  11. I don't count anything before turn three. Lee and Kyle swapped places twice in heat two. Chris Harris passed Anders Rowe in heat one. That's three passes.
  12. Agreed. On that one, get your eyes tested. Clear jump. Unsatisfactory start.
  13. 3 passes in the first four heats. Not great for Glasgow, but more than I've ever seen in a Poole meeting on BSN.
  14. I believe the seating was intended to be ready for tonight, and I’m not aware of it being an additional cost.
  15. Particularly that close to the end of the season. I think you’re writing off the playoffs if you change at that point.
  16. The best I can come up with for right now is Sam McGurk. He’s not an upgrade in my eyes. Would he be worse? People will differ on that. One thing that was pointed out to me is, we have 8 Championship matches left. You only want a replacement to ride in 7 matches, because that way, they are still on an assessed average at the start of next season. So, if management want to make a replacement, it would make sense after the next Championship fixture, to allow more options for next year, and for a replacement to build form this year. Realistically, it’s only worth the risk for a rider you want to sign for next year.
  17. It’s probably worth remembering also that three bikes hit the fence at once, in different places. That’s a lot of force spread out over a much wider area than one guy sliding in. The force of impact has to go somewhere, and if nothing moves at all, that just means all the force has gone straight into the bikes and riders, which would be far worse.
  18. Yeah, Scott's really got it sorted this year, something's clicking that had been missing for a bit. It's great to see him doing well.
  19. I’m annoyed. We threw that away. We didn’t need to win - losing by 8 would be fine, easy enough to pull back at home with the boys firing. Just dumb choices in crucial moments. Good to see Marcin on it tonight.
  20. Bomber should’ve been in with Marcin for heat 15, they were a good pairing tonight. Ben just tripped Bomber up repeatedly.
  21. His Championship average has gone up, although he's been poor tonight.
