I like this line up. Keeps majority of team together, 2 to 5 & 2 to reserves very interchangeable. Much like the Scunthorpe Team make up that won the league this season. It would need some kinda of Poole mega team from this season to beat this Monarchs team around Armadale.

Some of the comments at Cairns are laughable. Please remember he is still a bairn at 17, plying his trade with adults in a high pressure professional setting & a sport that is more adrenaline fuelled than most. I for one hope he keeps this up because if he wants a successful career & to chase the dream of being World Champion one day, then he is gonna need all these attributes that people are so keen to moan about. Wont be moaning if in 10 years time he is World Champion, the same people will probably be kissing his ass. Last night was brilliant for the sport. What was good to see was a load of youngsters going at it 100%, ie Cairns, Rushen, Mulford, Pijper, Scott. If these boys keep progressing then we might not see them in Britain for much longer before the lure of Zlotys beholds them, so enjoy it whilst it lasts!

I do hope you are not pointing the finger at BSN for your 'racing non existent' & 'keeping the dust down' & 'farce of guests' points? GP's can be a bit of a farce at times, and that happens to be the money end of the sport with the mighty FIM.

Once the track dried out & riders didnt pull out all their tear off in the oner 🤣 ( Lambert I think) it was a decent meeting. That heat where Pedersen channelled his inner Nicki Pedersen was good. And it looked like Jody attacked the track which was ( as he always is) awesome to watch. Well done for having the 2 minutes silence, a touch of class. And thank you Jamie Swales!

I get where you are coming from. But surely people go to Speedway to see racing, irrespective of who rides for who on which date

He's been critical of the set up in British Speedway, so cant really blame him. But he is someone who should be leading the commercial charge for our sport ( minus the swearing lol)

Absolutely lunacy to be thinking about replacing riders at this early stage. Speedway is not Premiership football. Thought the crowd was OK, but have seen it bigger. Long season still. Chatted to a few Plymouth fans, so fair play to them making the trip.

If Oxford stay fit, they win. Too much pressure on young shoulders for Poole's reserves at this early stage in their career (, as well as Gilkes back from injury) but will be in Playoffs. Glasgow 50/50 make playoffs, they looked vulnerable at home at times last year & it'll take a while for Hausl & Pedersen to find their feet (thats if they are not ousted by then). Edinburgh & Redcar with their stable team from last season & well balanced 1-7 will be there. Whatever happens, the Championship is again the best and most competitive league for racing & entertainment in the country

Looking forward to this meeting already! Hopefully a bumper payday for Redccar too
