  1. Maybe the first time it's been confirmed as an absence . I've done it myself, it happens to many of us but, usually ends about 2.30pm each day.
  2. Go on then , take the credit. I'm sure LR was sitting at home with his feet up counting his cash from last Wednesday when he saw your post and thought, thats a good idea.
  3. You make it sound like signing riders is easy. It's great to say him or him but , does that rider want to ride in this country , ride for that club or is asking a Kings randsom to ride. All the riders mentioned may have been asked before the season started but for one reason or another went elsewhere or just simply decided not to.
  4. Try going to perry barr where the covers have to be down before any track work can start & be removed and put away after the meeting. Not a rider in sight!!
  5. Much closer than most predicted ,I think that if all the brum riders could perform on the same night things could get better.
  6. I read all of this, then this week in the speedway star a half page feature on the British amateur league, all being run at scunthorpe. It's using several NDL riders plus some unattached riders. Made up and ghost teams, Not that different to IOW, but hey, who runs scunthorpe?
  7. So you would be happy to see your club, having paid your money to get in , have a very weakened side just so that the guest rules are not used?
  8. Just call it the king Charles iii memorial and cover more bases.
  9. I'm sure if you email the FA they might be able to do something
  10. Will the Brummies beat the weather yet again and get a meeting on when all others don't seem bothered?
  11. So what's the alternative, a ndl 2 pointer dropped in and hope. It's OK complaining about the guest system but, without a alternative what do you suggest ?
  12. Let's hope you are pleasantly surprised.
  13. Another serious injury at scunthorpe? Or is it just me imagining things.
  14. I do slightly disagree about things at stoke. Things did improve (abet with the aid of volunteers) everything was done to help when carmarthen ran as the mdl team. The ghost teams were destroyed by the BSPL premier junior league which has now been kicked deep into the long grass.
  15. Bailey was at Birmingham press day on Wednesday, so has been riding.
