Redcar v Birmingham BSN 6th May
Petecc replied to Norfolk Bear's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I believe I heard him say it wasn't broken. -
I read all of this, then this week in the speedway star a half page feature on the British amateur league, all being run at scunthorpe. It's using several NDL riders plus some unattached riders. Made up and ghost teams, Not that different to IOW, but hey, who runs scunthorpe?

28 day facility for injured/missing riders

So you would be happy to see your club, having paid your money to get in , have a very weakened side just so that the guest rules are not used? -

What should the clubs do , use a 2point novice? -
Just call it the king Charles iii memorial and cover more bases.

I'm sure if you email the FA they might be able to do something

So what's the alternative, a ndl 2 pointer dropped in and hope. It's OK complaining about the guest system but, without a alternative what do you suggest ? -

The MDL is running? -
Another serious injury at scunthorpe? Or is it just me imagining things.
-
That's all I do these days!!

First one of the season. Home win ?
-
I do slightly disagree about things at stoke. Things did improve (abet with the aid of volunteers) everything was done to help when carmarthen ran as the mdl team. The ghost teams were destroyed by the BSPL premier junior league which has now been kicked deep into the long grass.

Bailey was at Birmingham press day on Wednesday, so has been riding.

Proving that you shouldn't believe everything you read on the Internet.

Winning or losing is the end product of a entertaining evening. You can have both?
-
Entry level? That depends which door you are using. MDSL / Northern junior league is Entry level, where the riders pay their own way. The NDL is the third level of professional speedway, there to develop riders further in theory.

I would say that it has already watered itself by the look of the river across the track. Air bags are great at becoming water holders days before a meeting but then dump their contents as soon as blown up, flowing across the track causing soft spots.
-
Pun intended?

All I can see is fans of other clubs saying what a bad signing. Not going to be the push over they were hoping for?
