Throwing in the towel at this stage would cost the club more than finishing it. With the loss of bonds etc that would have to be repaid again next year. You have to laugh in the face of obviously and kick sand (or dust) in eyes of bad luck sometimes. There is nothing any of us can do but back the owners and prey the light at the end of the tunnel isn't a train coming in the other direction.

Accommodation booked and paid for. Im going to be there regardless who's riding. Sometimes it's about the sport, not the standard of sport.

After the 2 hottest days for a very long time the track surface was baked so hard that water was running straight off . Dust, not sure what else could be expected.

It's so hot the track will be rock hard no matter how much watering. Best gaters will win.

Well done Glasgow.! I've seen poole Leicester and Glasgow beat Birmingham. My money would be on Glasgow.

Tough one but i can see birmingham rise to the challenge.

As a summer sport complaining about the sun & wind . What else did they expect? Track curators always give out the similar story and work very hard with what they are given. The Leicester track needs to be completely ripped up and relaid & that isn't going to happen mid season.

Predictions aside, Birmingham weren't very good but, does that much base show through every week and where do I post this fine red dust back to. The track was bald in bends 1 & 2 by Heat 3, 3&4 not much better. You can spin your tractor round and round as much as you like but you are only hiding a problem , not fixing it.

My original question was why they don't use the NDL team as a direct feed the the championship. Thank you for your answer.

This may be a silly question but why do Leicester bring In a guest from another club at home when they have a NDL team of their own? Looks like a slap in the face for a least one of those lads
