Anyone else feel the deafening silence, rumours of musielak and Oxford getting refused entry means we've gone to the "top" league? Hope I'm wrong, don't fancy Monday and Thursday nights at all, especially for away meetings

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2022
Jaizer replied to IronScorpion's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I never said average lol. 7 points against Edinburgh beating Lawson and lawlor, 3/4 points away several times, then an almost maximum once knew was getting the bullet. Watching him every week he just seemed to go backwards every time I saw him, until said almost maximum -

I can answer that lol. Consistently inconsistent, probably needed stint at reserve but sedgemans form got worse at reserve so knackered that. He was also bonus point king as raced with cookie most of the season so that will have had an effect -
I was going to say I tend to agree as it's not like riders weren't paid for it... But then that wouldn't be strictly true either
-
Sure we can manipulate the fixture list ha. I dunno if it's even an option just at the wind up
-
If only northern Friday night track had a spot available for him with a successful record with Danes last few years..
-
Jye etheridge as guest against Edinburgh up there, not replacing Sam in heat 8 at Poole in final. Tbh there's been a few decisions I've found questionable at best this season. As I've said many times before, Ian Steele was sacked for much less Oh deferring gate selection at Poole as well

Yeah that leaves a bitter taste. Just to clarify not to diminish Richie's ability as a rider he just wouldn't be good signing for my team. Before the abuse starts ha -

Re fixtures. I believe will either split league in 2 so will have 5 teams home and away twice split north and south. Or bring back premier trophy and have a competition split in the same way winner of both groups goes to final. Riders as you say will be the big issue, Shanes, castagna etc be available I'd guess but top end would need a few rabbits out hats to be competitive. -
Happy to see Workington on the comeback. Forever linked to my own team by one season in 70s, or was it 80s? Enjoyed trips to DP, but own stand alone stadium definitely way forward

Steady on a 3 would be a great signing

It's panto season time to indulge the daftness lol

Hmm intriguing. Rosco?

I'm not sure that's obtained by most championship clubs. Poole, Glasgow, Edinburgh maybe? Seems to have been downfall of a few clubs trying to hit that target -

Sheffield? -
I was meaning if he hadn't been in 2019. Plus I don't think he's been on a bike much last 3 years
-
Ah ok thanks. Bit mental that when had a championship average.
-
Did Josh not ride championship with Sheffield 2019? Or was that year before?
-
Good glad to hear that, used to sit next to the grandparents when they visited ashfield, glad buried hatchet
-
The only precedent I can think of is the Leon Madsen situation at Glasgow many many years ago. After he reneged on Glasgow contract I'm sure he wasn't able to ride in UK for a few years
-
Thought he used a polish license so more likely to get job there?
-
Bit of an out there thought if it's a surprise a signing what about Josh G? He did ok for Poole in premiership. He could get tempted back over from Oz?
-
Love to see Noddy back in Britain. Him and Darcy probably my favourite riders of last 10/15 years. Only man I saw pass Shane Parker at ashfield when was with IOW
