  1. Track looks good. On the second bend near the pits with the missus...she's been converted to a speedway fan so good news! Come if you fancy a chat anyone !
  2. Think it will be comfortable win for the lions again. Let's hope we see some newcastle riders make the gate....
  3. No suprise Poole winning . They just seem to built great teams every year
  4. Well Birmingham could win the meeting tonight and gain some confidence at least.
  5. Some good racing last night. Simon Lambert was awful and got the Audi score....0000.
  6. Should be a closer one this evening. Still think the lions will be too strong for them but Scunthorpe have built a decent side and expect some racing tonight. 50-40 Leicester
  7. It's a tough track at Leicester but I did see Joe Thomson pass Josh Auty trying different racing lines. So you can pass there..youve just got to know the track..nick Morris did a pass as well....so it's not a mockery for speedway at all or even cheating. Birmingham were rubbish at gating that ain't Leicester's fault.
  8. Was great to be back to the lions den last night. Cold night but a fun night in the end. It's hard to assess how successful the lions will be based on last night's meeting due to the fact that it was a very weak Birmingham side. Never the less Leicester's 3 big hitters looked unbeatable (especially worrall) and Joe Thomson looked very good as well. Dan did well but it does have a more difficult spot in the team compared to his brother. Anders Rowe still looks unfamiliar with the track but will hopefully get better as the season progresses. Mountain did his job well so it looks a strong team at home especially. Fair play to the Brummies fans who made the journey and stook with the team . James Pearson looks a fantastic rider for his age and Morris put in a great performance.
  9. Well Birmingham were rubbish. Great to be back to the lions den but my god it was a no contest!!
  10. Excited to be back in the lions den this evening! Can't wait to hear the noise and smell those bikes roaring. Here's to great a night of speedway although I don't think it will be a close one...
  11. Looking forward to welcoming Birmingham to the lions den this month although I'm abit nervous thinking Birmingham won't have enough riders.
  12. Hard one to predict this year. Some much improved teams and there's always club that are up there. This is going on the assumption of Pooles team being strong again and Berwick getting a good heat leader. Il probably change my mind every day until the tapes rise. 1.Poole 2.Glasgow 3. Leicester 4. Edinburgh 5. Plymouth 6. Oxford 7. Berwick 8. Redcar 9. Scunthorpe 10. Newcastle 11. Brummies
  13. Just been hearing it from some good people that is all. People who went the practice day found out some info I heard.
  14. Looks like the Thomson twins will riding in the national League ..there clearly too good for it but need regular rides. I'm only thinking this because they need regular meetings and with the uncertainty of the new no 8s in the prem
  15. It's a good team , what I will say is compared to last year's towards then end as much as we looked good on paper the balance seemed all over the place. Hans Anderson never really got going and Douglas got a little inconsistent. Couldn't fault kennedy but Dan struggled riding at 2. This year's team isn't as strong but the balance is spot on .play offs but not winning the league for me
  16. The averages have been released by leciester . Nick Morris 8.58, Richie Worral 7.93, Kyle Howarth, 7.60, Connor Mountain 5.06, Dan Thomson 4.92 , Anders Rowe 3.69, Joe Thomson 3.55. Total 41.33
  17. It is a team full racers and expecting some poor gating and sublime passing!
  18. Agree. Think if like you said they improve then we will be fine. But if they don't kick on then we're stuck abit. Our team is solely based on potential.
  19. Thinking of Josh bates wooopppss my apologies
  20. I had no idea Rowe was suffering from a knee injury last season which he explains why he struggled at leciester last season. Dickson reckons he should be pushing for a heat leader spot. If he does kick on and Dan struggles in the main body you could see them swapping positions.
  21. Anders Rowe is the final signing for the lions. It's a good team let's hope it's good enough to win something !
