It's a poor side I agree but it's impossible to build a realistic title challenging 1-7 when Doyle takes up so many points.
I also factor in the Louis/Hawkins loyalty picks into every side I put together.
How about this team? Strong reserve all season long which is a big factor.
1. Jason Doyle 10.32
2. Keynan Rew 5.00
3. Richie Worrall 6.15
4. Erik Riss 6.00
5. Danny King 6.40
6. Hans Andersen 4.93 or Craig Cook 4.92
7. Anders Rowe (RS) or Drew Kemp (RS)
I don't think that will be our side.
I just build realistic 1-7's using riders who will race in Britian as well as riders who might be available to us rather than chucking names like Madsen, Michelsen etc. into the hat.
5.48 left unless the rumoured reserves are wrong.
Craig Cook or Hans Andersen would have to be the preferred choices imo.
1. Max Fricke2. 5.483. Chris Harris4. Nick Morris5. Richard Lawson6. Connor Mountain7. Dan Thompson (RS)
Doesn't fit at Leicester now if it's true about Mountain & D. Thompson at reserve.
Unless the rumoured KL team is wrong then it's a 50/50 coin flip as to where he ends up (Ipswich or Panthers)
Would be a good fit for you imo. Richie is one of those riders who'll chip in with a solid but not spectacular showing almost every week.
Steve Worrall imo. No reason to release him considering how effective his partnership with Masters at 1 & 2 was last year. Probably the highlight of Wolves' 2022 season tbh.
Announce all of the returning riders before announcing the new faces.
Can't think of anyone above 7.59 that's average is 7.73 or lower which is why I stuck the average at No.3.
Did check Kenneth Bjerre's average but that's 7.75.
Brennan will haunt BV next season.
Makes no sense to get rid of him. He would actually hold his own in the 1-5. Young Brit who's only going to improve year on year.
I really wouldn't be shocked if this was our 1-7 if the ink hasn't dried on Ben Cook's signature.
1. Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.59
2. Tom Brennan 5.71
3. Benjamin Basso 6.81
4. Rohan Tungate 6.61
5. Chris Holder 7.16
6. Hans Andersen 4.93
7. Jordan Jenkins (RS)
= 38.81
If we get another big hitter at 3 then I'm with you on that.
Brennan would be a good signing for the No.2 position and he's only going to get better. Terrible move by Mark Lemon to release him imo.
