Ipswich going well. Hawkins may have pulled a blinder with his riding order after all.

Wolverhampton v Peterborough 27/06/22
TTT replied to scoobydoo's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Wolves easy. Hopefully the floodgates open and we don't have to race tonight considering we've lost two team members through concussion or injury. -
Riss at No.5 when he's average around 3.5 pts a meeting away from home makes no sense. Starke at No.4 makes no sense either. Sheffield to win comfortably.

Wasn't going to place anymore bets this season but I've got to go for ZG -2 as well. Cant see Gdansk putting up 44+ with that team. Shouldn't even be hitting 40 tbh.

Przedpelski Over J. Holder @ 11/4 is far too big. Both of them are struggling but that price is purely based on qualifying only. Wozniak Over Doyle @ 6/4 is another price based on qualifying only and it seems a little big to me. Wozniak a Gorzow rider and the Polish fans should get that adrenaline pumping. Not backing them myself but they're overpriced imo.
-
Agree with all of those.

bet365 have paid far too much attention to today's qualifying session imo. Qualifying really didn't mean anything today as the GP is being held on a proper race track where gate choices don't really mean anything as it's very fair across the board. Value to be had everywhere imo.

Dan Bewley Over 12 looks the best bet in tonight's first fixture riding at No.8 Might get 7 rides if Gleb isn't feeling too good after a couple of rides. Should take a minimum of 6 rides

If you offered me a draw after 15 Heats at the start of the night then I would've taken it. Ulrich must have used all of his credit up by now -

Babs is on the vino tonight. No idea why Doyle was excluded but I'll take all the help we can get right now. -
Feel for R & R tonight. Was it just a coincidence that Antonio got himself a red card just before he was due to face Pieszczek two times on the spin which resulted in Pieszczek taking part in 3 rider races and being gifted 2 points just for staying on his bike that has resulted in his points tally jumping from 7 to 9 which has resulted in a winning bet becoming a losing bet. That 8 point marking was fishy before a wheel was turned as highlighted by myself earlier because the rider form book as well as rider statistics simply didn't back that 8 point marking up from the get go. If it wasn't for the red card then my 5-7 points reply to R & R earlier this evening would've been bang on because that's what the statistics backed up before a wheel was turned.
-
Should sail in because the stats don't back up the 8 point marking by bet365. He's a 5-7 point man at best.
-
I'm not backing anything either mate. I like a few bets on paper when it comes to the Ipswich vs. Peterborough meeting but I'm not touching anything after Monday's fiasco.
-
No idea where bet365 are getting 8 from another bet that looks too good to be true imo. Going by the stats the marking makes no sense whatsoever. KP's scores this season read. 4 6 5+2 12+3 5+1 7 5+2 9
-
Jason Doyle marked at 13 points. GP at the weekend and if Ipswich are out of sight then he'll turn down Ht 15 tonight imo. Anybody backing JD on the unders considering he needs Ht 15 just to have a chance of going over.

Might be another poor track not fit for racing. That's just me guessing though. -
Finding a new home is out of the question. Many Speedway fans in the country are very old so travelling isn't the easiest thing to do for them which is understandable. Just getting to their local track can be a struggle. Cost of living will just increase the punters layout on a race day if they did find a new home, Extra travel costs to go on top of a programme / ticket and maybe a hot drink at the stadium. Unfortunately we're done just like Swindon, Edinburgh & Newcastle and soon to be Poole even though their fans don't want to admit it. As for the future of British Speedway one big league is out of the question because as I stated earlier 4 and half Premiership teams worth of riders currently double up in the Championship so their isn't enough riders to go around. Eurosport will pull out of the contract due to a lack of teams and gradually it will die of a slow death. Shame as it's the best sport in the World but the World now revolves around greedy people with money and Speedway in this country doesn't have money to burn unlike Football for example.
