  1. What's the deal with Drabik's head dressing that makes him look like a bank robber?
  2. Drew was given enough time to get a grip imo. The No.6 has to score at least half a dozen every meeting because the top 5 and RS cant put up 40 points every week.
  3. Torun will want this meeting to go ahead after Grudziadz put them to the sword last Sunday without Doyle. Postponement only increases the chances of seeing Grudziadz return to Gorzow with a fully fit side instead of a depleted one.
  4. Kemp's fate was sealed after he ended up in Jake Mulford's pocket around Sheffield imo. Craig Cook for Drew Kemp should ensure that Leicester finish 4th now as Cookie will give them a bit extra at reserve when it comes to away meetings.
  5. Pawlicki. Some fans will say keep him just because of his higher profile but the reality is that Pawlicki is likely the most expense rider in the team who's actually performing the worst.
  6. The win was more important to Leicester than producing a good spectacle last night, It was a must win 6 pointer really and they needed a big lead to try and get the BP as well. Personally I've never watched a good meeting around Leicester whether it's on Eurosport or BSN. Like most fans I too was bored but I can understand why Dickson produced the track the way he did. The former Wolves boys love a gaters paradise, Lawson is a gater but the most important thing is that Bomber Harris isn't a gater at all and the very slick track basically nullified any kind of threat he possessed pre-meeting.
  7. Does this fit??? 1. Musielak 2. Wojdylo 3. Basso 4. Klindt 5. R. Lambert 6. S. Lambert 7. Rowe (RS)
  8. Probably be Pawlicki after tonight and if it was to happen then I'm not sure he'd be worth signing tbh.
  9. Question is did Pawlicki's Heat win save his job? S. Worrall rode like his job depended on it. Lampart seems to be improving. Z. Cook, Brennan and Flint are untouchable imo. No point in signing Sedgmen if they was only going to keep him for two meetings and tonight he done well.
  10. Agree. Tonight's defeat means nothing from an Ippo perspective because it wasn't Ipswich's real side, No team would be able to cope with their No.3, 4 & 5 missing on the same night. Birmingham done the job they needed to in the end, Can only beat what's in front of them.
  11. I don't think the Leicester track suits him at all.
  12. Different Birmingham after Heat 9. Lampart and Worrall have had their best meeting of the season.
  13. Birmingham struggling against an Ipswich side missing 3 key riders. May as well get rid of Pawlicki for Lindgren.
  14. I was. They tried putting a Women's game on before cutting it off after a few seconds lol.
  15. Same here, Just a small stake for me as well as it's all a bit unpredictable this year. Like you say both should be close. Got to give the nod to the home sides based on the fact that Ipswich are missing 3 key riders and the fact that Leicester are at Home in a must win 6 pointer.
  16. The GP rider is probably Huckenbeck imo. German manager has already bought one German rider in so why not bring in another? I don't see who else it could be because Robert Lambert would certainly end up at KL if he wanted to race over here.............Unless Buster is broke?????
  17. An iffy performance tonight and the Lions season will be over already considering Oxford are rumoured to be bringing in a GP rider to make their team stronger. Must win meeting for the Lions.
  18. Golden opportunity tonight for Birmingham to pick up another rare win. Whenever I predict Birmingham to win they end up having a mare, However Brum have performed better against the top sides in the league at Home (Put up 45 pts against Sheffield and 47 pts against BV)
  19. Anyone going for a Birmingham & Leicester DOUBLE @ 1.64/1
  20. Pleased for Brummies fans, The loyal fans deserve a competitive team. Hope you pick up a few more wins this season.
  21. Not a good look for the BV management at all. This should be the incentive they needed to cancel these stupid lunchtime meetings altogether.
  22. He's much better than what he's showing. At the minute the other boys are covering for him by still winning Home meetings which is key to finishing 4th, I'd give Magic 1 more month whilst Oxford still have a grip on 4th place and if no improvement happens then get rid. Only Leicester can nick 4th place off the Spires and they're in a complete mess with various underperformers every night.
  23. He's been a massive disappointment since Day 1 imo, Happened last season as well with one too many off nights. Problem is Max is bulletproof when it comes to getting sacked by Leicester because riders of his stature don't want to ride over here or if they do want to ride then they're asking for a crazy money.
  24. 100% keep Becker, Struggling this season but he's got a bright future ahead of him and it's a long term project, As Arteta would say.....Trust the process, If it goes South then at least you can sign him up again next season on a bargain average. Masters on the other hand isn't worth keeping, He was protected by the Monmore Green circuit for a good few years that made him look a lot better than what he actually is. As for Kemp I don't know why he was signed in the first place, Drew has been a tried and tested No.6 in a much weaker Premiership before and he couldn't hack it so he was never going to be cut out for the job in a much stronger Premiership this season. Masters and Kemp out for Kerr and one other is the changes I would make.
