Ipswich Witches 2024 serious team predictions
TTT replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Only Robert Lambert will come close to Doyle's UK scores. Laguta wouldn't be able to ride Foxhall for toffee imo. -

Gutting. Best wishes to Doyley on his recovery. Ipswich now have to make a double change because nobody can fill Doyle's boots. -
Sheffield v Birmingham - 30th May
TTT replied to InTheDeepStuff's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
For a meeting that didn't promise much on paper, BSN viewers got to see some top draw moments tonight. Congrats to Jack on breaking the track record, Hope he continues his great form in the GP's as Zmarzlik needs to be pushed all the way this year. What a ride by Woffy in Heat 11, Worth the admission money alone. -
Take a bow Scott Nicholls. Sam Masters is becoming the most disappointing rider in the entire league this season when you take into consideration that returning Polish riders haven't been used to British tracks for a good few years. No excuse for Masters to keep putting up these 5's and 6's whilst being protected in the engine room when signed on a 7+ GSA. Richard Lawson having to cover for Max Fricke's poor away form is becoming a regular occurrence.

bet365 were treating us tonight. Never in doubt.
-
I'm confident on Howarth and 60% confident on Brennan however I've decided to leave both of them in the end just on the slight chance that they don't come in. Like you I'm happy with my -14 and Hcap Tie. Good luck!
-
How does everyone feel about BRENNAN 0 vs Woffinden. Brennan should be getting 7 rides tonight and Woffy may only take 4.
-
bet365 seems to want to give away free money tonight. SHEFFIELD -14 and the Hcap Tie all day long, Something drastic would have to happen for Birmingham to put up 39 points tonight.
-
Drew was given enough time to get a grip imo. The No.6 has to score at least half a dozen every meeting because the top 5 and RS cant put up 40 points every week.
-
Kemp's fate was sealed after he ended up in Jake Mulford's pocket around Sheffield imo. Craig Cook for Drew Kemp should ensure that Leicester finish 4th now as Cookie will give them a bit extra at reserve when it comes to away meetings.

Pawlicki. Some fans will say keep him just because of his higher profile but the reality is that Pawlicki is likely the most expense rider in the team who's actually performing the worst.
-
The win was more important to Leicester than producing a good spectacle last night, It was a must win 6 pointer really and they needed a big lead to try and get the BP as well. Personally I've never watched a good meeting around Leicester whether it's on Eurosport or BSN. Like most fans I too was bored but I can understand why Dickson produced the track the way he did. The former Wolves boys love a gaters paradise, Lawson is a gater but the most important thing is that Bomber Harris isn't a gater at all and the very slick track basically nullified any kind of threat he possessed pre-meeting.

Probably be Pawlicki after tonight and if it was to happen then I'm not sure he'd be worth signing tbh. -
Birmingham v Ipswich Mon 27th May PL
TTT replied to Brummies_Ste's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Question is did Pawlicki's Heat win save his job? S. Worrall rode like his job depended on it. Lampart seems to be improving. Z. Cook, Brennan and Flint are untouchable imo. No point in signing Sedgmen if they was only going to keep him for two meetings and tonight he done well. -

Agree. Tonight's defeat means nothing from an Ippo perspective because it wasn't Ipswich's real side, No team would be able to cope with their No.3, 4 & 5 missing on the same night. Birmingham done the job they needed to in the end, Can only beat what's in front of them. -
I don't think the Leicester track suits him at all.

Different Birmingham after Heat 9. Lampart and Worrall have had their best meeting of the season. -

May have just saved himself with a Heat win.
