  1. Brum is a very unsettled club that needs quite a bit of fixing if the club were to stick with the same 1-7. 1. Tolley needs to try and tempt Pete Adams to Brum again to work alongside Chris, Sudden Sam is basically the Joe Biden of Speedway Managers. 2. Need to settle on a riding order and stick with it unless forced into changing it instead of chopping and changing every meeting. 3. Tolley needs to stop putting too much pressure on his riders pre-meeting, You hear comments from Woffinden and Blodorn about how laid back they're feeling in British Speedway whilst having a good laugh with team mates and opposition riders prior to Heat 1, At Birmingham it just seems like the riders are under constant pressure, First it was the Lindgren situation where everyone was riding for their jobs, Now Tolley is coming out with unrealistic expectations about winning the bonus point against KL last night when even a win on the night would've been an achievement in itself.
  2. Team line-up cost Birmingham tonight. Steve Worrall riding at No.5 again after struggling drastically all season when riding in a Heat Leader position was utter madness.
  3. My bold prediction wasn't far off, Fancied Leicester to go well tonight.
  4. Polish carpet rug tracks make bang average riders look good.
  5. The Lions former Wolves riders have been exposed this year. Protected by Monbore for too long.
  6. Agree, I'm just hesitant to take the short 4/5 in case the track prep is a gate and go dust bowl due to the hot weather. I watched Brum struggle on BSN at Home to Ipswich in the KOC recently when the track was poor due to the hot weather. I did want to back Ellis tonight as he's a gater who knows Perry Barr well but no markets are being offered on him
  7. I'm also backing these two bets. BRENNAN OVER 8 @ EVS (I know he's riding with Lindgren but Tom is having a fantastic season and he should be cleaning up in the easy No.2 race jacket imo, Just like Richard Lawson does for Leicester) DOUGLAS OVER 8 @ 6/5 (Loves the NSS and always performs well around the place, 8 points from 4 rides as well as 11+1 from 5 rides are his scores around BV this season)
  8. King's Lynn +10 and The Hcap Tie @ 11/10 and 10/1 respectively. Get on it quick before the price crashes.
  9. So many rules even the clubs themselves don't know half of them. Bit of a blow losing the in form Hagon for Killeen as I think Hagon would've scored points against both of the Aces reserves.
  10. I guess Brum are banking on Kvech being a flash in the pan at the AFA vs. Oxford last week. I don't understand the line-up at all otherwise because surely you'd want Brennan going out in the latter heats, Being done by Heat 10 has a negative impact on Heat 15 as well. How many times do you see the No.2 at clubs get chucked into Heat 15 only to finish last due to the track changing during the interval as well as Heats 11, 12, 13 & 14.
  11. Great ride by Anders considering the track seems very tricky tonight, A lot of riders struggling when riding the inside line.
  12. Going with a bold prediction. Leicester finally put in a team performance and pick up a win at Belle Vue. Mountain scored poorly in both leagues last week so maybe he's hit a blip and I'm not sure BV can cover for Kurtz with Lidsey being way too hit and miss this season. As for Leicester, Dougie normally puts on a show around the NSS, Cookie should score a fair few at reserve and Fricke should put in a big performance on his former home track.
  13. Was just thinking to myself about the kevlars being way too much of a kit clash in this one.
  14. Hampel on a 5-1 earlier in the meeting when his bike started to go which resulted in a 3-3 turned out to be a HUGE slice of good fortune for Grudziadz.
  15. Grudziadz have fallen off a cliff since going 10 up. Their entire season relies on them getting the job done in Heat 15.
  16. What are you doing Sadurski. Silly point thrown away by moving off the inside line.
  17. Gora haven't turned up again. MJJ still on a max sums up Gora's performance today.
  18. Best wishes to Klindt, The guy has no luck whatsoever when it comes to injuries. Some of these Polish throttle jockeys need to learn how to control a Speedway bike because it's not the first time an Amateur has caused an injury to an experienced rider recently on a Polish track (Chris Holder)
  19. Should be a close meeting. Grudziadz like Leszno will be fired up and Zielona Gora will want to bounce back after a bad showing against Czestochowa.
  20. Never rated them from Day 1 but they're even surprising me with how poorly they've been performing as of late. Emil's even off it at the moment. Lublin at Home next, Followed by an away trip to Wroclaw so things could get very nervy for Torun in the coming weeks despite all of the good fortune they've had with other teams being ripped apart due to injuries to key riders.
  21. I read that Kolodziej has lent the Ukrainian his equipment and pit crew. Fair to say it's working out like a treat at the moment.
  22. Problem Leszno have got in the fight to stay up is the amount of BP's they're going to lose due to them losing heavily in the first leg's due to Kolodziej's injury.
  23. Try and salvage the night by taking KL -6.0 & The Hcap Tie @ EVS & 11/2 In-Play when leading by 10 after 10 Heats.
