  1. I just personally can’t see he would’ve done. Don’t think Harris could’ve done a lot more: 11+1 (5) @ Oxford 3+1 (4) @BV (a track he has always maintained he doesn’t like) 11+2 (7) @ Sheffield Averaged 6.25 from his away meetings 17+1 (6) vs Oxford 14+3 (7) vs BV 16+2 (7) vs Leicester 9 (4) vs Oxford Averaged 9.33 from his home meetings Combined average @ no.6 - 8.1
  2. I’m aware they’re the same age, but realistically do you think if Iversen was at reserve like Harris was he would’ve been banging in the same number of points?
  3. If I’m brutally honest, NKI, Klindt and Boughen have to go. Iversen is so far over the hill now it’s a joke, and Klindt is quickly following him. Boughen, just doesn’t cut it, meetings aren’t won or lost as the RS position, but him cutting off instead of mixing it at the 1st corner isn’t doing him any good either. 1. 8.00 rider (if one makes themselves available) 2. 6.00 rider (ideally someone young, who is hungry and not just going through the motions) 3. C Harris - 6.5 4. B Cook (when fit) - 6.13 5. R Lawson - 6.76 6. J Kvech - 6.1 7. L Harrison Total - 39.49
  4. Because Woffinden was injured due to an accident caused by no fault of his own. MJJ has decided himself that he doesn’t want to continue racing in the UK. Everyone knew from the start of the season that he was a short-term signing. If Birmingham signed him whilst under the full understanding that would be the case they shouldn’t be granted a facility at all imo.
  5. Must be time for your boy Artem to step back into the fold…?
  6. Will be a tough fought meeting, but I just see Lynn having enough to get it over the line. 47-43 King’s Lynn Stars 1. C Harris - 6 (4) 2. J Kvech - 12 (6) 3. R/R 4. N-K Iversen - 7 (4) 5. R Lawson - 9 (5) 6. N Klindt - 11 (7) 7. A Boughen - 2 (3) Total - 47 Sheffield Tigers 1. J Holder - 11 (5) 2. A Rowe - 5 (4) 3. J Pickering - 9 (5) 4. J Sedgmen - 2 (3) 5. C Holder - 7 (4) 6. L Kerr - 7 (6) 7. L Flint - 2 (3) Total - 43
  7. No lineups declared for this one yet, with Gilkes and Howarth being doubtful for Leicester and B Cook still on the sidelines for Lynn. With only Birmingham not riding guest selections for both teams will be sparse. Leicester will probably use Voulas/Castagna for Howarth and Joe T for Gilkes. Not sure what the play is for Lynn, do they go R/R again and hope Klindt doesn’t tail off as he did at Ipswich (space out his rides more), or try and tempt Rew for a guest booking?

  9. Proud of the boys, did a lot better than some expected, and to stop Ipswich getting 60 at home is some going (don’t think a lot of teams will achieve that this season). I sat exactly inline with the start/finish on the back straight and saw multiple nibbles at the start, with only Klindt getting pulled back. My only gripe is, if you’re going to enforce it, you have to consistently enforce it. At the end of the day I’m humble enough to admit the better team won, once Ipswich got settled on the lacklustre track that was that, as they have too much firepower at the back end of meetings.
  10. Belle Vue v Sheffield: 50-40 1. Kurtz - 13 (5) 2. Blodorn - 6 (4) 3. Lidsey - 8 (4) 4. Cook - 5 (4) 5. Bewley - 12 (5) 6. Zischke - 4 (4) 7. Mulford - 2 (3) Total - 50 1. J Holder - 11 (6) 2. 11. A genuine question because I’m curious, does Sweden pay more than what the UK does? It seems like Sweden have no issues attracting the top names and the travelling time is negligible if a UK side is offering to pay more…
  12. Personally think Leicester came out with better side of the deal anyway. Cook is over the hill at this level and if he decides one evening he doesn’t fancy it, you can quite comfortably write a row of duck eggs in the programme
  13. What is the saying they like to use: “for the best interests commercially for British speedway”
  14. Let’s see, should be a good meeting either way, with a bumper crowd!
  15. I was a bit conservative with Dan T because he is now going against an opposition no. 6 in heat 2 and most likely 11 who is not a reserve and just thinking he cannot maintain his brilliant start to the season. However, he could prove me wrong and go score a max the way he has started the season! if my memory serves he correct Kvech quite enjoyed himself at Foxhall last year scoring 11 in August and 10+1 when guesting for Ipswich in the playoffs, so expect him to go well
  16. Line-ups declared for Monday’s early Bank Holiday Fixture. Can only see an Ipswich win, unfortunately. However, I think Lynn will put up the most competitive fight of anyone who has visited Foxha this year so far. 52-38. Ipswich 1. Jason Doyle - 13 (5) 2. Danny King - 7 (4) 3. Adam Ellis - 6 (4) 4. Tom Brennan - 8 (4) 5. Emil Sayfutdinov - 11 (5) 6. Dan Thompson - 3 (4) 7. Jordan Jenkins - 4 (4) Total - 52 King’s Lynn 1. Chris Harris - 6 (4) 2. R/R 3. Jan Kvech - 8 (5) 4. Richard Lawson - 5 (4) 5. Niels Kristian Iversen - 7 (5) 6. Nicolai Klindt - 10 (7) 7. Ashton Boughen - 2 (4) Total - 38
  17. There’s no guarantees that King’s Lynn will run again in ‘26. Always question marks come September/October time whether Buster will continue…
  18. Temp visa like Lindgren uses when he does testimonial/challenge fixtures over here at the start of the season
  19. Think it goes to the next decimal place that is higher, and unfortunately in this scenario Cook is higher so has to go in the main body
  20. R/R will be fine at home, as Kvech 1 ride, Klindt 2 rides and Boughen 1 ride should score the same/if not more than what Cook had to start the season. We will struggle either way away, and with our next next 2 fixtures at Ipswich and Leicester it looks pretty daunting.
  21. As much as I want to say King’s Lynn are competitive, we’re really not. We have a strong home advantage (unless we face Ipswich) and may win 8-9/12 of our home meetings, but we struggle big time away. This in turn leads us not winning many aggregate bonus points and being well adrift of the play-offs. As mentioned by others on other threads, there is a big divide in the league: 1. Ipswich 2. Sheffield 3. Belle Vue 4. Leicester 5. King’s Lyn 6. Birmingham 7. Oxford
