  1. Can’t see Fridays meeting in Glasgow being on with the recent rain & more to come this mid week. Hopefully I’m wrong & it makes the cut
  2. Glasgow Friday night race night is set in stone & works well together with Championship level running costs is a no brainier.
  3. Solid signing from the Tigers & he will have to improve his Ashfield form… Cami’s quotes are legendary so best to not take it seriously.
  4. Surprise, surprise Looking like Lee Comp is tonight’s announcement…. I wonder who this years mysterious wild card rider is ?
  5. Good to see Workington back at Championship level & well done to everyone who made it happen & with a new track also. Big win win
  6. It makes sense staying at championship level with the budget & a Friday race night works best at Ashfield & keeping the derby with Edinburgh going as long as possible also. Rumours of a points deduction but it’s only that at the moment & we will see what cards we are dealt. It would be good to see all the teams come back to the tapes next season.
  7. Well done Tigers & everyone already looking at next season & if anyone in that Glasgow team will be replaced. Bomber will certainly be in demand next season & maybe Cami as he’s got a winners medal now on his CV !
  8. Poole fans super confident & probably rightly so with their record against Glasgow at home but I think this will go all the way & Glasgow could smash & grab it. Cam-belt has to really step up tonight & read the room !
  9. Great appointment from the bandits getting Dixon as TM + Glasgow will probably still have the Cam- belt next year sadly
  10. Green light for tonight by the looks of it & feels strange having a massive final meeting on a Monday night but hey hoo here we go. The track conditions could be a factor after the tidal wave of rain recently but the track staff are excellent at Ashfield. Pray Cami plays a good hand tonight & no “high jinx”
  11. Surprised if the 1st leg goes ahead tomorrow night & I can’t see the crowd being anywhere near what it should be for a match of this calibre but who knows
  12. I echo most of the comments here & the rain the today is making tomorrow night extremely unlikely at the moment. Sunday night outside in October isn’t really supporter friendly also & but not much wriggle room to get another date before the 2nd leg which Poole want & deserve. It will be interesting to see Cami’s heat line ups also as he likes the “cami curve ball”
  13. Hopefully next year we won’t have ANY meetings in October but we can only wish. Thinking out the box Just have the final in a neutral venue (national stadium) & scrap the 2 legs & possibly have the premiership & championship finals on the same day.
  14. Excellent comeback from the Tigers in the 2nd half of the meeting & Oxford unlucky tonight With the weather for wed & thur being washouts & a poor forecast for friday it seems unlikely it will go ahead on Friday now.
  15. Massive changes in British Speedway next year but hey I’ve said this the last few years
  16. Weather is blustery showers & no way can it be staged so correct call to postpone the match at an early stage. Could the possible re staging day be the traditional Friday night ?
  17. Usual every year trying to squeeze in fixtures in late September & October when fixtures in June & July are thin on the ground.
  18. Doctor Cami has the remedy & Vissing will become fit & able
  19. Correcto comrade; it’s a bit late in the day to say the team will “ improve “ & the book of excuses is thicker than the old yellow pages
  20. Cam belt says “tigers will improve” after another heavy away defeat …..Already looking like another zero season for the tigers
  21. The result down in Poole was embarrassing & Claus Missing ,Marcin No-trak & Comp-bin had an absolute MARE & shows Glasgow have a weak team & will end up with another duck this season
  22. Another year & another set of meaningless fixtures in October coming up.
  23. Seems like a tad premature pulling the shutters down already with it being clear the last few hours. Having gaps between home meetings is not really “fan friendly” & already looking like the annual back log of fixtures running into late October yet again.
  24. Another year & yet again Glasgow fans getting over excited before they’ve raced all the other teams.
