The result down in Poole was embarrassing & Claus Missing ,Marcin No-trak & Comp-bin had an absolute MARE & shows Glasgow have a weak team & will end up with another duck this season

Another year & another set of meaningless fixtures in October coming up.

Seems like a tad premature pulling the shutters down already with it being clear the last few hours. Having gaps between home meetings is not really “fan friendly” & already looking like the annual back log of fixtures running into late October yet again.

Another year & yet again Glasgow fans getting over excited before they’ve raced all the other teams.

Just my opinion but Novak, complin & piper are massive weak links & wont last the season I suspect.

All rumours regarding the new look Glasgow team & Harris has already been on board briefly & is a non starter for next season. More chance tempting Howarth & Morris to head north but the big bucks have to go to Pickering who is box office on the bike like Basso.

Excellent signing from Glasgow regards Basso & only Bailey will be back from last years side also now. Ulle, Hume & Nicol weren’t returning for 2023 as I posted weeks ago & I was slightly surprised Cookie won’t be back but maybe a change will freshen him up.

Echo the other posts & the BSN has been largely excellent & I will be signing up for next season.

Yup agree, start the season Easter bank holiday w/end & league finished by the end of August.Possibly cup matches in September only. Glasgow didn’t even run a home fixture for 6 weeks & then ran their play off semi on a Sunday night at 6pm in October which is hardly viewing friendly hence a poor crowd.

Best wishes for Stewart & Garry may is another shrewd speedway operator to have in charge.

Lawson is a non starter & has had his stint at Glasgow & southern based now so never going to happen. Glasgow will keep Brennan & Bailey only & probably sign Starke & try for Pickering if Edinburgh don’t run.

Good luck to Ulle & he was a good racer around ashfield & top bloke. Thats the first of the 3 riders I've said that wont be back at Glasgow next season.

Scunthorpe, Birmingham & possibly Berwick are on risky roads & with Poole moving back up the league will look wafer thin.

A possibility with starke on his average but I think next season we will lose a few more clubs so there will be a good chunk of riders available & I would start will Josh Pickering. Ulle oyster-card, Broken nicol & Danyon at home won’t be returning so a few posts available.

Simply appalling performance from Glasgow & really have next to no chance in the return leg now. Glasgow still stuck at ground zero. Fair play Poole & they would of been well fired up after Sundays farce but it didn’t need anymore spice as Poole are already a monster at home.

Another dejected season it looks like yet again for Glasgow & the score at Poole was simply appalling & it has to be the end now for the manager but I wouldn’t hold my breath. They won’t move up as the race night would have to change & it’s too expensive also so the same old next year I suspect.

Sad day for all the Swindon fans after being strung along for years & I’m afraid I don’t see the robins returning elsewhere now. Really worrying times for British Speedway with Edinburgh gone also & a few more clubs on life support for 2023.

Strong possibility that’s the end of the monarchs now. They had a very good inning’s & ran a shrewd operation over the years on sometimes a wafer thin budget & delivered silverware to the fans. The derbies with Glasgow over the years have been fantastic & they will be a massive loss to not just Glasgow speedway but British speedway.
