Shame. As Glasgow vs Oxford and Glasgow vs Redcar have the making of two great meetings.

I'm afraid it is. Narcissism means to have an excessive self image/self-importance. Anyway, I'm sure you could argue about all day about it even though you're wrong. Fact is, nobody believes you are new here (let alone the fact you've only just gone to your first meeting in years - as you like to tell everybody), so just do yourself a favour and drop the act. Nobody comes on to a forum for the first time and posts almost 100 times in just two weeks and argues with all the members who post regularly (amongst other things already mentioned). Nobody sane anyway.

The word ‘correctly’ is doing a lot of heavy lifting in this sentence.

Redcar v Glasgow 10th September
Bojangles replied to Biffa's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
That's your opinion. I was stating a fact. Poland has priority on a Sunday, I don't know why this is so hard to understand. I believe Wright signed as injury cover for Wroclaw around August 10, a good three weeks before Woffinden got injured at Cardiff, so not sure where you got your info from. If Wright was to ride for Redcar on Sunday, he would be withholding his services in Poland - not the other way around. -
A big meeting in the race for the last playoff spot. I think the Colts still need a miracle, but could do themselves a big favour with a healthy win over the Lion Cubs tonight. Both sides looking weaker than usual with rider replacement for James Pearson and Sam McGurk guesting for Sam Hagon, while Ben Morley is in for Dan Thompson and Danny Phillips for Ashton Boughen. Belle Vue Colts: 1. Rider replacement, 2. Matt Marson, 3. Sam McGurk, 4. Freddy Hodder, 5. Jack Smith, 6. Jack Shimlet, 7. Luke Muff Leicester Lion Cubs: 1. Ben Morley, 2. Max Perry 3. Danny Phillips, 4. Tom Spencer, 5. Joe Thompson, 6. Vinnie Foord 7. Max James Thoughts?

Redcar v Glasgow 10th September
Bojangles replied to Biffa's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Sunday is a priority race night for Poland, so he's not withholding his services. Only way he would be withholding his services is if he rode for Redcar and turned down Wroclaw! As soon as he signed a contract with Wroclaw, he has to ride in Poland on Sunday and Thursday if his Polish club wants him. Which booking he got first is irrelevant. Blame those in charge of British speedway for agreeing to this, not Wright. -
Redcar v Glasgow 10th September
Bojangles replied to Biffa's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Surely this is quite simple..... Poland have priority on Sundays. Only way Charles Wright could have raced for Redcar against Glasgow on Sunday was to turn down the chance to sign for Wroclaw. Considering Redcar usually race on a Friday, why would he turn it down? -
Yeah, fair point, although Oxford were severely weakened in the home fixture with the loss of Schlein after just one race - so not sure you can read too much into the aggregate score. But then there's the Tarasenko factor in Glasgow's favour. And totally agree about Poole. Nothing against them, but it's about time we had a final without them.
-
Is there any danger Leicester don't fulfill their fixtures and miss out on the playoffs as a result? Still no news on rearranged Oxford and Mildenhall meetings.
-
No, Oxford are seven points clear of Glasgow, and Glasgow only have two matches left. Oxford on 33, max Glasgow can get is 32. I'm half hoping Oxford/Poole do select each other, as I'd love to see an Oxford vs Glasgow final!
-
I honestly don't know what to think about this fixture. I can see everything from Oxford sneaking a 46-44 win to Glasgow cruising to a 55-35 victory. So many unknowns on how people will perform. Guess that's what makes it such an exciting fixture - that and the fact both team have plenty of racers, so it should be entertaining.

Birmingham v plymouth Wednesday
Bojangles replied to Petecc's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Seriously? I’m no Poole fan, but the onus is on the rest of the league to be better, not for Poole to deliberately be worse. -
Another 5+2 tonight as well. Massively out of his depth!
-
All the people who have commented have seen him race in one form or another before passing judgement (positive or negative). You’ve just been negative without even seeing him ride for some reason. And let the lad develop? How is people commenting on a forum going to impact his career development exactly? Tell you what, let’s all shut up until he’s 35 and then we can talk about great or awful he was.
-
Please God not more points for different level of away wins. I tried to introduce a friend a couple of years ago, he took one look at the table and starting pulling out his hair at the amount of columns. Simplicity is the way forward.
-
Yet you feel the need to comment having said you'd never seen him ride? If that's the case, why comment? That seems far more pointless than actually having a thread about him. And 7+2 on his Championship debut means he's out of his depth does it? Something tells me the green eyed monster might be at work.

Championship Pairs - Sep 1st
Bojangles replied to Bojangles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Exactly. The coin toss simply decided which team was in which semi as they were tied in pretty much every way. Pretty simple stuff. A certain person is acting like it decided the outcome of the meeting.
