Ipswich Vs Kings Lynn August 10th

Even bigger blow for Leicester in my opinion. Difference between title contenders and no chance. -
Poole v Oxford 9/8/23 Championship
Bojangles replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Not sure Oxford will finish top now to be honest. If Oxford and Poole both win all their home meetings, it will come down to if Oxford can get away wins at Edinburgh and Glasgow, and if Poole can win away at Edinburgh and Scunthorpe. If Poole win both away matches (which is entirely possibly), it means Oxford would have to win both of theirs - and not sure they will at Glasgow. Therefore the final points totals could be Poole 35 and Oxford 34. Of course the good old super heat could add some confusion into the mix. -

Every side starts to look poor at Poole. Read into that what you will. -
Plymouth Vs Berwick 8/8/23 live BSN

It's just the one super heat. If it's a draw on the night, and a draw on aggregate....one super heat decides both. -

Still no sign of my refund as yet. -
Wolves v Leicester Prem 7th August 2023
Bojangles replied to Beowulf's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Still easier to understand than the chaos of the last couple of seasons in my opinion. Different points for different margins of away wins, etc. Had more columns than the Pantheon. -
Ha, yeah, should take what official sites state with a pinch of salt. Oxford's website also spelt its own rider's name wrong throughout their preview (Garrod).
-
That's a cracking line-up.
-
Yep. Oxford clearly listened to supporters frustrations from the last couple of meetings and did the right thing.
-
Scratch all that.....the meeting has been postponed.

It's on their website... Kent Royals: 1. Nathan Ablitt, 2. Connor King, 3. Matt Marson (guest), 4. Ben Morley, 5. Rider Replacement, 6. Ashton Vale, 7. Tom Woolley. Oxford teams as follows: Oxford Chargers: 1. Jordan Jenkins, 2. Jacob Clouting, 3. Ryan Kinsley, 4. Jody Scott, 5. Henry Atkins, 6. Luke Killeen, 7. Jason Garrad.

I hope you're right, that certainly sounds a bit more optimistic. Just a bit weary of making the trip after the last two meetings.

The weather looking like it might win the re-staging of this tonight as well. Although with the rain due to stop around 5pm (according to Met Office, BBC has it raining a bit longer), wouldn't surprise me if Oxford leave it late before making a decision again.

Based on Leicester's own massive build up to the signing of Max Perry, perhaps Harris has just bought himself a new holiday home or something.
-
Fair point. Guess he's just thinking he's got no other outlet to air his dirty laundry.

True, not very professional, but it's hardly just a speedway issue. Just look at the Kylian Mbappe saga in what's supposed to the biggest sport in the world, involving two of the biggest clubs in the world and what is arguably the best player in the world. Couldn't keep him off social media a couple of months ago.

He's hardly been a disappointment for Leicester, so he's allowed to have a good old whinge isn't he? God knows enough of us whinge on here!

What does Tai Woffinden mean?
Bojangles replied to Hamish McRaker's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I presume people probably want to know, as they're wondering if there's a way to keep Woffinden once Holder returns. I know I'd be looking to keep him if he's on a 7.03 average. For instance Woffinden is only 0.79 higher than Pickering (6.24) and they have 0.54 to play with. A bit of jiggling around and it's feasible Holder and Woffinden could be riding in the same team, no? -

Nope, not as yet. -
Poole v Oxford 9/8/23 Championship
Bojangles replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
A lot could depend on how fit Kerr and Killeen are (think it will only the the second meeting back for both of them). Last visit Jenkins, Heeps, Atkins and Kinsley only managed six points between them, and you’d probably expect Oxford’s bottom four to score more this time around - that said it’s never easy to score points at Poole. Even if it’s not close on the night, should be very competitive for the bonus. Going 49-41. -
Oxford vs Scunthorpe - Champ - 2/8
Bojangles replied to Bojangles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It’s the nature of the rain offs that’s the problem. It’s well documented that Oxford have a large catchment area made up of Reading and Swindon fans, I myself travel from London for instance - so it’s not just Scunthorpe fans that suffered. The above message is no solution to appease fans that were unhappy about the call offs, listen to them and learn instead. That’s the key to keeping the Oxford success story going - and I hope it happens. The work that was done was commendable, but perhaps a little too foolhardy in the circumstances. -
You're missing the one page about Poole (on every thread).

Does anybody on here ever update anything on Wikipedia? I went to do some updates today for the first time in ages, and it looks like everything is being kept well up to date - a couple of usernames appear regularly across UK and international competitions, not to mention individual rider pages. Is there a place Wikipedia users collaborate to get missing results for updates etc.?
