  1. I'd also be surprised with the Cookie signing, especially with how it ended last time. I wouldn't be against it though as he is a good rider and with Jeppesen and Batch, it makes a decent set of heat leaders. Add to that Zischke and we have a decent 4 out of 5. I wouldn't like Max Perry as I feel like he's another Sam Mcgurk. He won't score many at reserve and probably won't get out the 2 points.
  2. If cookie has signed on 7.99, then this so called Danish rider you quoted as being on "7.8", would never have fit.
  3. I have to disagree. He was awful last season
  4. I personally think he's one of the most inexperienced no.1s in the league and may be one of the worst next season.
  5. Agreed. Im bored of waiting now. Im going to purchase a season ticket regardless of the last signings but im still waiting for them to be announced before I do.
  6. You may have misunderstood what he actually said. He said if it goes to one league and Sheffield are competing in that league he'd only ride for them
  7. He done well the first time riding at Poole and absolutely shocking the second time. Bowes isn't as good as some here think. He had 2 or 3 very good home performances but other than that, he was awful. I watched him at Edinburgh and the guy looked like he'd never rode a bike before
  8. It is but it could also pay off. Hes a good rider still and he will 100% exceed an average of 8. Suppose it depends on his head and if he can stick to it for a season
  9. Drew Kemp hasn't been signed yet and I think he can only fit in to Workington, Edinburgh, and Scunthorpe now. Although I do believe he's riding in Poland, isn't he? That would make Scunny the likely option.
  10. Where's the cook rumour came from?
  11. Well, you now have a rejuvenated Jye returning to yous. I strongly believe hes a good addition to your team and he'll most definitely cause an upset when he returns to us (northside)
  12. I wouldn't be against having Cook back for another go but there's been a common theme over the past few years with Cookie. If he wasnt a local lad, id stay far far away, but he is, and I have a soft spot for him.
  13. Do they round up or down? Makes all the difference
  14. He was also leading until he made a mistake and let Beau and James through
  15. Troy, other than the start of the season in the KO comps, has been decent. He, on countless occasions, has made embarrassing results less embarrassing. This season he disappointed at redcar but the season before he was phenomenal there, beating both King and Wright. This season he was good at Plymouth, Oxford, Scunthorpe, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
  16. Not a bad shout with Blodorn. We were in conversation with him in the past when Cooky went AWOL during the off season.
  17. Interesting comments by Andrew Baines about the Batch signing - “Troy has shown over the past two seasons exactly what he brings to the team, both on and off the track, and having him in that second or third heat-leader role strengthens us massively" Second or third heat leader? I wonder who's coming in
  18. Although I do agree that his performance at Scunny was disgraceful, I am glad to have him back. His home form can definitely be improved on but away from home he scored the most out of anyone. Highlights for me were his performance at Scunny (second time around), and heating Harris and Howarth at Glasgow. Really happy he's back, especially now he doesn't have the pressure of being number 1. Let's get this season started! UTC!!!
  19. No thankyou. I want nothing to do with Lambert
  20. Lambert will definitely not be a Scorpion. Hes said so himself.
  21. You were saying batch was "departing" on Wednesday. Make your mind up or stop pretending you know rubbish.
  22. Zischke was the Darcy Ward protégé with tremendous talent, but I believe Bailey has always been the next big thing.
