  1. Not sure I'd have Etheridge or Foord back. Would like to see tate back for a third year as he's promised new equipment and also won't be riding in Poland
  2. Id have batch back as number 5 personally.
  3. Its not often I agree with people on here but I can't argue with any of those points. Track needs to be set up better definitely. On countless occasions this season I've found myself saying, "there's no outside line". Im wondering if a certain young Dane who attended the memorial meeting has signed for us.
  4. Antti was our best rider around northside and actually improved his away average this season. I think Antti, if you actually watched him, will push on to be even better away next season. At Berwick, he got the hang of the track in the end but dirty Kildlemand idioted him over. At Glasgow he struggled but then scored at the end. He'll learn from this and improve massively. I would take Antti and Hook over anyone else in the team. I'd also like to see tate back as I think there's still a good rider in there, plus the reduction in his racing schedule and improved equipment is going to help him out massively.
  5. There are some sore sour losers in here. Was there a lot of dust? Yes. Was it a poor track? Absolutely not. To say there was "no passing" is ridiculous. Maybe no passing by the Glasgow lads but im pretty sure Jacob Hook passed on the outside twice, jye did, Tate did, batchelor did, vuolas did, and vinnie gave it a good go too. Got battered by the better team on the day. Wind your necks in and take the defeat.
  6. Edwards is consistently decent around workington. You're guaranteed points with him but what you aren't guaranteed is much passing by him around northside. Nagel on the other hand provides some quality entertainment and guaranteed passing. I personally think you'll get more from Edwards than you would with Nagel but that's just based off experience around Northside.
  7. I expected a clear win for Glasgow on Saturday if they had Nagel. It now makes it interesting without him. I believe harris has been around northside a few times and even guested for us last season. Hes done okay but hes definitely beatable. Howarth, thompson and Flint all like northside too so its certainly going to be a hard meeting. Our reserves should be dominant but the 1-5 is anyone's guess. One things for certain, Vuolas will do much better than he did at Glasgow.
  8. Seen some very good and brave racing today. Hooky, once again, impressed. I think Hooky has to be our rider of the season so far. Hes doing it home and away for us. Batch, Hooky, and very surprisingly, vuolas done good for us today. Vuolas took a while to get going but once he did he looked very quick. Tate and Jye disappointed. They looked promising after the first heat and tailed off after. Less about comets and more about Oxford now - how does Heeps keep getting positions in Oxford. He's awful.
  9. Let's not sugar coat it. Both have been rubbish. Vuolas has been awful away from home other than at Scunny. Tate has just been awful all season. He's only really been scoring what we'd expect once or twice. Atleast we are getting solid performances from vuolas at home
  10. Yep. Them two alone have scored 25 pts. 5 other riders scored 7 between them. Embarrassing stuff really.
  11. This is getting awfully embarrassing now. How many falls is that?
  12. Another battering away from home. This season has been an absolute write off. Hook is the only one who can hold his head up high and maybe young Vinnie.
  13. Ahh that makes more sense. Hopefully he gets it all sorted before next weekend. Busy weekend coming and we need him on top form. It's good to see him out practicing trying to sort it though.
  14. Were they the 3 to go out and practice? I was just saying during the meeting that Batch could return to a top heat leader if only he got out and practiced more. Good on him. I know he's not everyone's cuppa tea but I like him and want him to do well this season
  15. Yeh i also heard this. Confusing though because the program yesterday stated he wasn't happy with his first bike a couple meetings ago and switched to his second. Why didn't he use his second instead of borrowing one.
  16. And both can be true. I had a look at the scores in the back of the program yesterday and tates scores have been poor. Vuolas has put some brilliant scores together at home and the odd away but still struggles on some tracks. I sense the Oxford meeting will be a shocker for vuolas.
  17. Very good meeting today. Batchelor disappointing but I suppose he came through when it mattered. Tate just can't seem to get going at the moment. He's a shadow of his former self. However, I do think the track has been somewhat disappointing of late. There is good racing at times but not a lot of passing.
  18. Lovely trip up to Glasgow as always. One of my favourite tracks and facilities. I was expecting a battering but was left pleasantly surprised. Some fantastic racing throughout. Vinnie foord has fantastic after his first heat loss and heat 13 when troy beat the unbeatable was phenomenal. Troy has improved these last two few meetings and im chuffed for him tbh. I was in the grand stand surrounded by Glasgow Fans but every one of them seemed decent. Being in the grand stand gave me a beautiful view of the finishing line and I am 100% confident that Jye beat flint to the line but it is what it is.
  19. To be fair, he states as of the 31st of August. Maybe he can read the future and has seen a phenomenal return by Cookie this month
  20. You are right, he did. I was mistaken it for a different meeting
  21. Barker should've been excluded then. On a positive, batch has looked very good last two meetings. Keep it up sir
