  1. Godfrey made an awful meeting for us comets fans, somewhat entertaining. Highlights for me were celebrating when one of our riders took the lead because he didn't want to spend too much money on scunnys pts, and also commentating on the removal of the tapes after HT15
  2. Well that certainly cheered me up a bit. Happy for batch because the Scunny fans love giving him rubbish. Turns out hes actually better around the EWR than their number 1. Not surprised Worrall is the worst No.1 in the league.
  3. People werent happy with me when I said our few good meetings could've just been a positive blip. Today's result shows we are not good enough. If we lose tomorrow, and then go to Glasgow on Friday and lose, we will have four losses on the bounce.
  4. Absolutely embarrassing stuff. I thought it couldn't possible get worse than the first time around here. Its heading that way
  5. Embarrassing performance again so far. Luckily, I didn't make the trip down this time round.
  6. I can almost guarantee that this will not happen. There's a reason they didn't bring him back and that reason was proven right by his actions this season. Also, he doesn't fit. Come August 1st we'd have to drop 2 riders to fit him in, and he isn't worth that.
  7. This makes zero sense. I'm not arsed about Redcar performance. We lost by a considerable margin at home. Statistically speaking, we've had three good meetings this season out of several.
  8. Im still having nightmares from my last trip down to yous.
  9. Concerning because 3 away meetings could and probably will mean 4 losses on the bounce.
  10. Part of me was hoping it would be some of the main team after that shower of sh** performance. Was the last few meetings just a good blip?
  11. Anyone know who was out practicing after the meeting? I'd presume Laylen Richardson but not sure.
  12. Tate is fit. It's announced in the pre match post on comets website.
  13. It isn't. Paco is covering for Riss. The only rule i can see regarding guest riders is it has to be the same or less when riding away. However, at home, they get 5% on top
  14. Foord is definitely not overhyped. On the heat that unfortunately ended up in the crash he was flying around the bends and had already passed Thomsen. He probably would've railed in Cairns aswell who was hugging the inside line. Good, young rider with plenty of years left to learn his trade. So far he's done exceptionally well for a reserve rider. Shame on you for slating a young lad. Also, are you certain you aren't a Poole fan because that was a lot of arse-licking for Poole there.
  15. This may be an unpopular opinion but if Bowes keeps the home form up, and with the way he attacks the away tracks, he could become a better signing than Tate was last season.
  16. Bowes was probably suffering from the old rust. He started quite poor in Poland as well as here. He's now doing very well in both countries, with plenty of riding in Poland during the down times in England benefiting him.
  17. AGGREGATE POINT IS OURS. UTC!!! Where's all the poole fans at now?
  18. Imagine the ref penalising Jye for having a good start. Joker
  19. This poole commentator is definitely not biased at all. "Vinnie locked up". Oh you mean that smooth pass he made?
  20. The poole post stated it was "gate and go". Were they watching the same meeting as me? Yes, when we (comets) gated, we usually won. However, when we didn't, we also passed a lot to get amongst the points, something Poole failed to do. On another note, I'm unsure how today will go. Our best result last season at Poole was 52-38 in the play offs with Starke top scoring i believe. I expect a loss but not sure how much it'll be.
  21. I also thought this and if so then those pts should've been taken away.
  22. How did Worrall end up with BSN viewers rider of the night. Batch or Bowes for me.
