Workington Comets v Scunthorpe Scorpions 19/07/25 6pm.

Forecast looks bleak but in reality it's been a dry day with very short periods of light rain. It'll do the track some good and come 6pm it'll be a beautiful racing surface. UTC! -
Vuolas replaces Craig Cook at Oxford due to a rumoured "high heart rate" that sent him to hospital. That makes it a fair few meetings missed across both leagues now for Craig. I'm glad to be proven wrong because I thought Cookie would've been the better option over Troy

Workington v Poole Sat 12th July 6pm start

I'd have to disagree. I looked around and thought there were many more in attendance compared to last time out. Opening the 3rd and 4th bend for viewing has probably stretched it out considerably. I couldn't see many empty spaces and a lot were sitting, stood on the decking areas, and on the standing platforms. -

Can also only see a poole win. Lawson is obviously fantastic but they also have Rowe, kerr, and cook who can all put in solid performances. Cook looked phenomenal last season at northside and I'm pretty sure he was beating our heat leaders. I can only hope that hook can continue his form from last time out and Bowes continues his form from Poland. Zishcke is no longer riding with Bowes thankfully so I hope that helps him out. -
So are we confident of a resolution?

I thought Anttis visa was sorted by Birmingham? I know he doesn't ride there anymore but not 100% how it works
-
It also ended last Friday before the extension.
-
So we seen both Antti and Vinnie being unable to guest for teams due to the ban. However, I have just seen tate is now guesting for Redcar on Friday. Anyone any clues? Is it a sign? Are redcar being numb?

But have considerably more money. Cairns goes there, and I bet rushen will next year.
-
They'll need to hurry and sort it out or risk running out of time. The weather hasn't been great
-
The suspension has been extended for another 7 days
-
They definitely need to put something out there. It's ridiculous that we are hearing about Saturday being cancelled through other clubs. If it is visa issues, it could take a long while. At what point do they say we haven't got enough weeks in the year to finish the season? There is going to be postponements due to weather at some point over the coming months.

Can you give a bit more info? I've seen this rumour on Facebook as well.
-
Very concerning. I fear speedway will be no more at northside soon. We should've been allowed to stay at NDL level for another season.

Really impressed with Jacob Hook yesterday. He made some great passes and produced some of the most entertaining heats of the meeting. I really hope he pushes on and has a fantastic season. Such a likeable person and he's down practicing at Northside on a regular basis. UTC! -
This was proven to be very far from accurate. I think Masters and Vuolas were the reason you won it. Everyone else was rubbish

I can only presume he means Boughen. -

Jonatan Grahn comes in for Fraser Bowes. After seeing Grahn around northside the other week, I think that strengthens us. -
Tate isn't the same rider as last year but hopefully he picks up soon. I feel sorry for Bowes because he really needed his team mates to help him out while he learns the UK tracks. I think he'll do fantastic tomorrow though (I hope). Vuolas is great but like last year he struggles at most away tracks. I think the promotion hoped that Jye would return with new equipment and become the rider of old which hasn't happened. The reserves will be decent this season. Hook has done okay today and Vinnie would prefer to hug the air fence. However, Vinnie is a fantastic rider and he'll improve.

Workington v Edinburgh KOC 2nd leg 24/05/25 3 pm

A lot share that opinion. He's no where near a top rider in the NDL and he'll only score tomorrow if mechanical gremlins come along for our riders.
