Riders start the sport at different ages. Rising star shouldnt necessarily mean a young person. In this case, they are replacing a British lad with an Aussie who, by all accounts, has been performing well at ndl level but in the reserve berth. Doesn't sit right with me
-
At reserve. Makes the decision even more baffling.
-
Shouldn't be allowed. Rising star needs brought into Championship and you shouldn't be allowed to drop them. Tom Spencer is a young rider, who can ride at champ level, but needed time to develop. Poor by Plymouth here.

One or two comments on a forum that barely has over 50 active users and we "don't deserve kemp". Get a grip mate
-
It's a good thing kemp will be slotting in as a second/third heat leader then. Although didn’t he keep kildemand and Jeppesen out of the number 1 berth at Berwick last season?
-
What a shame. I wonder if this is the end for him now. He had decided to quit last season prior to Bainesy talking him into another go. He's still a top rider. Going off his performances this season so far, he would've been one of the best number 1s in the league if his head was in the right spot. Hope he gets himself in a good place soon.

Not me marra. More twists to this tale than a snake that's found a bag of coke

Im just pulling everyone's leg. I haven't a clue who it is. Could be any french rider! The list is that long! (It isnt). Is the rider even French? Is ol'Midget on the wind up. Soon see

Adam Ellis might fancy a spin

I think its impossible for him to come back now. He got himself suspended for 28 days, and the trust has gone now. All the talks coming out of camp are a new signing coming in soon. Discussions are taking place and looks like they know who they want. Maybe we'll see a name on the Memorial meeting riders list.

Kerr and Loftus next week.

Yep, Batchelor, despite getting a lot of hate, has never missed a meeting for us and he travels a long way. He may have his off nights but he's saved us a lot more than he's let us down. True captain. UTC! -
Interesting comments regarding the Jay Cartmell Memorial meeting by Baz today. Lineup consists of past, present, and potentially future workington comets riders. Also seen Cookies family at the speedway today. Nice to see them there.

He did the track walk. Just at derwent park instead -
Also disappointed but did hear that it wasn't down to the promotion but the salary he was asking for.

Think yous are all underestimating the ability of Oxford. I expect Rowe and Mitch to do well. Masters will be amongst it, even if he hasnt done well previously around northside. Dayle wood has had plenty of practice here, and I expect him to score atleast his average. Expecting a tight meeting, but hopefully we batter Oxford. -

R/R for cookie. Promotion are awful. R/R isnt too bad, but they aren't keeping us in the loop at all. Is he banned? Has he quit? No one knows -
Has he been suspended though? I haven't heard anything. We don't know what has caused this sudden decline in his mental health. Maybe he has issues at home. Either way, we don't know and won't know. We can only hope he's okay now and he does what's best for him and the team

Dont recall Sam Masters doing overly well at his previous appearances at northside. Dayle wood should win heat 2 as he can gate and stick it to inside line. Expect a lot of 0s and 1s after that though. My concerns are McDiarmid and Kennett. Both are racers and as the meeting develops they'll love the outside line. Should be close but expecting a comets win if Cookie shows up. If not, depends on the guest. -
I feel like im missing something here

Please say this is true. Im not one of these who will hate on him. Hes a class act on a bike when he does ride. It was nice to see him mountain biking with Dayle Wood on weekend with a smile on his face.
