  1. I can confirm it does look pretty good. The rain has somehow stopped. Plenty of black clouds around still, though.
  2. Just arrived and it's raining heavily here. No way this is going to go ahead unless it miraculously clears up.
  3. Straight shootout between Sam Hagon and Joe Thompson. Would have said Luke Killeen is the only other challenger, but presume he'll be riding for the Cheetahs against Workington that day.
  4. I was minding my own business until you referenced me in this thread for no apparent reason! You’ve argued with numerous other Oxford fans and even bullied one so much he left the forum altogether…but I’m the bad guy. Haha, okay! You’re (that’s how you spell it) a pretty horrible person.
  5. Maybe you should go back and read what I wrote. My away reference was in response to wanting more than just a good atmosphere at home. As a proper fan (unlike you) I want my team to do well, and that means making the playoffs and potentially winning the whole thing. Ipswich are already almost guaranteed the first, Oxford are not. That's the difference. Do you understand now? Ipswich can afford to lose a couple of away meetings if it means eventually getting a good replacement for Doyle, Oxford can not afford to wait and sacrifice meetings. It's really not hard, and I'm sure most of the other people that use this forum can understand that. Maybe instead of deliberately trying to argue all the time, you could accept that sometimes other people might have a different opinion to you. But you seem to deal in extremes, black and white if you like - and if people don't agree with you, then they're wrong in your eyes. Take a step back and maybe realise you're not always right. Then again, pigs might fly.
  6. You must be disappointed. Could have been a nice new council house for you!
  7. And your point is wrong (as usual)….because, as previously stated, you lack the intelligence to understand the difference. Your post above just proves my point.
  8. There's no point in trying to reason with you when you clearly lack the basic intelligence to know the difference between Oxford's and Ipswich's situations. Hint - try looking at the league table.
  9. Would you rather Louis pulled his finger out and rushed to get a number 1 or would you rather he took his time and got someone who would be a genuine replacement for Doyle? You're top of the league and going to make the playoffs, one or two losses at this stage of the season isn't really going matter in the greater scheme of things? Give Louis a chance and maybe he'll do the right business again - he hasn't really let you down over the last couple of years.
  10. Yeah a bit crazy. They went all cosmopolitan for the main Speedway Grand Prix series, and then the other way for SGP2. In Torun, 10 of 16 will be Polish or Danish. Not saying it's a bad thing, but some consistency would be good.
  11. Yeah, I was thinking that. Absolutely no need for the 'keep up'. Not everybody is able to follow every bit of speedway news 24/7. Some of us have lives to live.
  12. Can see Oxford stealing this. No Atkins or Boughen, but Hook is a decent replacement and Scott went well at Edinburgh in the NDL. 43-47
  13. No, there was no practice or set-up session beforehand. Just don't think Scunthorpe are that good, sorry. Oxford vs Poole for the title this year. Becoming a nice little rivarly.
  14. If you thought that was dry and dusty, you're going to have a very long summer...
  15. Peter Schroeck trying his best for Leicester as well by putting Riss out instead of Boughen in heat 12.
  16. Doubt it - as he would have signed for Oxford at the start of the season.
  17. Glad to see you finally admit you’re not a proper Oxford fan. You can go back to Swindon now, we don’t want you.
  18. It's Oxford vs Edinburgh actually.... so has some relevance to Oxford. I'll just gloss over the fact it's actually about the Spires though.
  19. I’ve already addressed your Cook for Kerr narrative. You say that’s not the case, so fair enough, I will respect that. Not sure you’re telling the truth, but I haven’t tried to force it like you are doing with Harris, so stop going on about it. My change at any cost agenda is not quite as extreme as you’re saying, but is also fair in some points. I’ve admitted it and I stick by it, but only if the right riders can come in. I have never said anything different, so what’s your point? Finally, for some reason, you are trying to claim I have a Harris agenda. I don’t, I’ve said so, and have never once claimed to have one - so why are you continuing to go on about it? Have you run out of other Oxford fans to argue with?
  20. I singled out Harris? Haha. You mentioned him and I responded, using Harris as an example. It's not hard to go back and look at previous posts before you spout this agenda nonsense. You're fixated with him!
  21. You must have missed the bit where I said I'd like to keep Chris Harris. It's just before the bit that you put in bold. What a clown! I've no issue with Harris. I'd swap out whoever works with the averages, be that Harris, Wright, Janowski, etc. Oxford should be making the most of the points they have available to improve the team - if there's a rider(s) who want to actually come.
  22. But he's one of the best Italians isn't he? Or should Italy just give up all their spots? There are plenty worse than Paco in the qualifiers. More a question of whether the format of that is right in my opinion. Can't blame him for trying.
  23. Has he said he 'thinks' he should be? Or is he just trying to qualify?
