  1. if that was the case then guaranteed weekly speedway will resume..
  2. I have heard that most of the stadium will be closed and only the home straight will be open, with virtually all bars shut apart from the one underneath the middle bar. This makes sense if true. I'm going, only a £10 to see some speedway, something which has been lacking at Blunsdon over the last few months.
  3. the way KL have been riding lately, I can only see Lakeside coming away with a 4-6 point win.
  4. I agree with the Wolves & Lakeside comment, but I think we can get at least a point ant Belle Vue.
  5. so you would prefer riders two wheeling in with it being grippy going in the corners.. slicker entering means you can race into the corners. regarding the Wolverhampton switch backs.. smaller tracks generally means closer racing, more mistakes to be made, hence more passing. I admit, Blunsdon used to be a great racing track, and sometimes it still is, but like most tracks, it's gate and go and you can generally fill in your programme after the first lap.
  6. doesn't matter who the teams are, yes, we will get a decent crowd, but it could be a lot more with reduced admission... a slip up from 'da management' I reckon.
  7. very surprised the admission is still £17 sheets.. not the usual £10 for a televised meeting..?
  8. to be fair, round the Abbey this year, whoever gates more than likely wins.
  9. i have no doubt we will get turned over again by those pesky robbing Pirates. 43-47 for me.
  10. shoddy & Inept decisions all round here, why oh why do British speedway do their best to totally pi$$ supporters off... If reports are true BV took an age to blade the track when they did, they should be fined. they should have started on the track ASAP... it's not rocket science is it, bloody amateurs..
  11. well well well, what an utter shambolic meeting from our point of view. The Aussie spine of the team were on lawnmowers as it looked like their throttles didn't go right the way round, shutting off entering the bends.. the last statement was aimed more at Sedgy. Looks totally disinterested. Only a few more matches to go in 2016, then its all the talk of whether we get into our 'new' stadium for 2017.. pigs might fly.
  12. as the post on the Lakeside thread said.....but we know what happened after eh..
  13. not the sharpest tool in the box, but his comments does make me laugh..
  14. not the meeting it once was IMO, especially if it's £25/£30 entrance. I'm afraid this meeting has lost it's edge some what over the years.
  15. been nice drizzle for the last 35-45 minutes... hopefully the track will be in tip top condition with this natural water bowser
  16. good god... can't see any Robins fans making the journey tomorrow... utter, complete shambles. I think that sums up tomorrow nights match.
  17. I'd love to hear what Chapman has to say today.. would he be wriggling around feeling a little uncomfortable.. or.... denying he was in the wrong.. Now what would have been funny is if Rory planted one on him... now that would have made me laugh.
  18. to hear on here what the chairman said to one of his own riders is downright pathetic and immature. I would certainly applaud Rory if he walked away from Kings Lynn after that. How old is Chapman... speaking like he did? It sounds like it should have been called off straight away.
