  1. When in the premier league as it was called then we ran amok and had some great times. Buster was very enthusiastic. Those were the days and not been replicated much since
  2. About as good as an ashtray on a motorbike. Jarr us regulars off causing some fans to jack it in. Will lose more crowds yet if they mess up this winter
  3. I’ve been thinking ( very dangerous for me as I’m out of my comfort zone ) I’m answering my own question here ( could be a sign of madness ). Do you not think that the problem with trying to attract a younger audience may be down to them participating in other interests such as Darts, Snooker, cricket, tennis and football. The youngsters of today like to get involved rather than watch. Also it don’t help with online gaming. Just a thought. Could this be why the crowd levels are down in the U.K. Although it don’t help with an incompetent bunch of know alls who are about as good as a chocolate fireguard trying to run the sport.
  4. Totally agree regarding streaming service. It is purely for ongoing fans. We need to attract a younger audience on the terraces. As us older ones pass away the sport becomes derelict.
  5. Buster gets his revenue from Stock cars if not the venue would close if just speedway
  6. So now we have found the way forward for viewing figures. Let’s do this big time. 2 fights a meeting one with opposing riders from the teams having a scrap on the centre green . Let’s then see a brawl also with the losing team manager clouting the winning one.🤣
  7. That’s why I think amalgamation is a necessity
  8. Thanks to you all for your input on my topic. Some great ideas there, and should be implemented,
  9. Totally agree main stream tv is the way forward. If it’s not there we have to take what’s there to pick up. Having said that BSN in my eyes do a cracking job.
  10. Thanks for clarification. So obviously it’s a waiting game regards whether true or false. I personally like Steve as a rider, but I know he has not had the best of seasons. Fingers crossed he has a rethink during the closed season.
  11. Thought it was mentioned in the bar at scunny after a meeting
  12. We are the same regarding irregular delivery times. For years are regular postie would deliver between 8.30am - 9am. Then when he relocated we have had several different ones who all now deliver between 11.30am to 2pm.
  13. I know they announced its back to the cheetahs, but didn’t know for sure what league they were in
  14. Can see Rew back next year, so I think he will be there
  15. So with Tnt deal over, who can we look to now.? Or are we looking for streaming service only from the relevant clubs. Perhaps Premier Sports will take it on as they already cover it in Sweden. If not Bein Sports who have several sports channels. Could Sky or Eurosport be tempted back ?
