No points limit and no decision on 2 leagues just sums this sport up. The hierachy should be forced out as this sport is repaidly decending into a shambles. How can any club get ready for a season without knowing any rulings that will have bearing moving forward. Is this because of a lack of teams? Lack of a TV deal? Lack of riders? Wtf is going on!

As we are all keen avid speedway fans and use this forum to have fun with other fans from around the tracks, my concern like many others is the potential drop off of the sport in the UK. It has always been the case that fingers are pointed at the things that dont help the sport by the powers that be whilst the sport in this country is being left to diminish to the point clubs will disappear once their owners one by one walk away. Its about time fans are listened to as barely any clubs are financially stable and all that seems to happen each AGM is rulings/stipulations to further detract from the wonderful spectacle speedway is by further adding penalities to a failing sport. The biggest concern for me are the cost of riders which seems to be driven by the cost of parts and the requirement for it to be used as a professional revenue and the subsequent lack of fans which maybe down to various blaize approaches over the past 20 years has created a disconnect for fans on the perifory. We need to act now to give the sport in this country a chance of survival. Fans deserve to have a voice and be heard on the top table as without fans only vast individual sponsors will float any club.

Its fair to say that many riders now want to join Workington as riders enjoy the track and this will show with the team that gets assembled for 2026. Could be an interesting few month for Comets fans.

Heard theres an Allied Trophy for 2026 which should be great with 2 new teams hopefully spearheaded by a new number 1 who is looking forward to riding round the GTTA.

This meeting should prove to be one of the best meetings hosted at Northside with the line-up only looking to provide a great days entertainment as i can see a winner coming from any one of 9/10 riders. Added incentive also is that there is 24 races in the 250cc and 125cc classes to further add to the days racing spectacle and add further value for money to the sum of £17 which is in my eyes cheap speedway. One final chance to watch speedway this year at Northside so be sure not to miss out!

Whats happened to Bowes after his facebook outburst? He mentions he is riding this weekend in an earlier post then mentions he cant get to Poole and his season is over. Surely if he wanted to get to Poole tonight he could of got there? Sounds fishy to me. Where does this leave Workington? Surely Marek Cieslak's comments havent made him turn his back on the UK?

They dont need to mention the club anymore then they are allowed to! This track is the blueprint of speedway whether it needs watered or not.
